The whole Iceland debuff after the civil war is really funny. It is entirely possible that a tiny economy like Iceland would be effected by the war far more than an average sized country but I'm far from convinced that there is historical backing lol. And selective debuffs as result of economic crises is a paradox favourite, Canada gets stuck with debuffs from the great depression but Britain and France don't lol
if you wanna play a good naval nation, try denmark. monarchist path is my favorite, their industrial tree is op, and their position means you can do a lot of work when it comes to taking down the british and french fleets. only downside is that the naval tree is a bit small but the bonuses are decent, and the obvious german invasion, but that's not too tough to hold against
Do you think you'll try the American Endseig mod? I think it would be interesting especially since japan, germany, and italy all have around 400 ships. It would be cool to see how you can claw back the naval game from that big of an upset.
