The stat distribution is on purpose for a reason. This is a niche build where the stats wont help as much leading to an "unconventional" stat distribution that is triggering a lot of people lol. Vigor above 60 is a waste. Mind you don't need it, the skill cast of the weapon lasts 1 MINUTE per. Endurance, if you are using rakshasa for more damage, you don't need it. If you are using the lighter build, it a preference to push to a heavier build and pump endurance. The skill ONLY scales with INT and weapon LVL, leveling Dex and or Str is a waste. You don't need Dex for casting, Azure staff will do the job fine. You are not using faith to cast buffs since it would lead to off-handing two things and being obnoxious. The logical answer is 99 Intelligence for slightly more damage, why not. :)
@lloydpaikea7357 I specifically said leveling vigor at all is a waste. Why put points into a useless stat and vigor is useless if you don't plan on getting hit
1. Red-Feathered Branchsword and Bloodsucking Cracked Tear aren't a good pair because you need to be below 20% hp for the talisman to activate and the bloodsucking cracked tear is constantly draining your health, you will have to repeatedly heal as to not die but then reach 20% hp again to active the talisman again Edit: I suggest using either one or the other 2. Azurs staff uses 20% more fp to cast any sorcery, use a normal staff instead
Redfeather is the only talisman that makes sense when trying to get high damage especially when there are a few talismans that work with the skill of Dark Moon. It is only there if you happen to hit while you are under 20% HP, which will happen often. The staff is important to cast terra magica fast and go back to your business even if it consumes more FP. You have alot of FP and it is just being used for Terra. That split second of casting could be the difference you need. That is the rationale behind those choices :D
@@OUSAYT if damage was the goal it would make more sense to use black dumpling and aged ones exultation for their buff when madness procks, this would also allow you to fight with full health and more damage than you would with the red feathered branchsword As for azurs staff, I wasn't aware casting speed affected Terra Magica Edit: and as another person mentioned, jellyfish shield would be a good addition to the build for the 12.5% damage boost

That build is not constant, I would take off the red-fheater branchsword talisman, for the Ritual Sword talisman and instead of the bloodsuckin tear, I would use the one that regenerates stamina faster like greenburst crystal tear, since the charged attacks consume a lot of stamina, it does less damage yes, but it is much more consistent

Instead of dogging on your build, I'd like to suggest some changes to maximize your goal; from experience I find that using the charged heavy tear is more significant for the Darkmoon great sword. Also instead of shard of Alexander I would switch up to the Axe Talisman, only because the shard boosts skill damage, and the ability for the sword is technically a part of the moveset rather than that actual ash. Sorry if this is confusing at all.
Totals to 218% extra damage as long as the buffs dont overlap, but thats still going to be a shit ton of damage with a +10/25 weapon. Could fs go higher though
Why dont doing the same stuff with a faith build and using the swords of light and darkness for extra 40% damage and a weapon with golden blade as weapon art??
Doesnt the shard of alexander boost skills that do damage and NOT weapon buff skills like the darkmoon blade? All you're doing is applying a buff that lets you shoot projectile magic slashes with heavy attacks. Why not use magic scorpion charm to increase magic damage instead or the axe talisman to increase heavy attacks damage output? ( probably got the talisman name wrong ) the skill itself doesnt do damage so using Alexander shards is just confusing af for me.

Still rocking the deflect tear, but here the second tear should be the flame or holy shroud tears. This version prefers Vow and Standard, but if you still want more stance damage go Deenh buff.
Enjoy actually landing hits reliably while setting up crits and posture break amp damage. Instead of whatever this knuckle dragger whipped up 🗿
With these builds you can still use other weapons. The strength/faith set up gets tons of options. Options such as Magma Wyrm Blade, Sword Spear, previously mentioned Ex Axe, Maliketh Blade, Big Doot Horns, Crucible Armaments, Anvil Smith Hammer, and that Shadow Sun Flower.
I did fine with bloodhound blade and blood flame.. beat every boss with it. I tried others but man that sword is too good
80 Strength
40 vigor
40 endurance
Don't get hit
It’s an initial build
Whats the point of 50 vigor when you're just going to get one-shotted anyway?
Bro said 80, when he was 99
How about showing it in the middle of a actual boss fight, not a modded boss stand sill fight.
"Second off hand"
Tf kinda mutant is this???
What isbyour second offhand?
Personally I’d use the jellyfish shield cause it’s one of the only weapons to benefit off of it
Jellyfish is 12% and you have to have it on for it to work. A staff with terra magica is 22% in a general area. It lasts longer, easier to use and has more damage.
@OUSAYT This is a very very very dumb take. Because you can use both
You wont be able to pull all those off in the boss room lmfao. Maybe howl of shabribri and Terra Magica, but the frozen pots, hell no.
I started elden ring days ago and I'm confused
Now do all that fighting the dlc final boss
Doesnt shard of Alexander not work with darkmoon greatsword?
bro forgot rannis dark moon?
Dude gave it an entire talisman slot and then never used it lmfao
Bruh my friend called me a gold digger because I married ranni for her sword. I would have been more faithful but I discovered that her original body was ginger. 🥶
Gonna do this when i get home see if it really works,
Quicker just to hit it twice
I would have killed the boss already. before equipping all that shit and pop all buffs. Double reduvias and bloodloss in vicinity amulet
60 vigor
20 mind
25 end
18 str
22 dex
25 faith
80 arc
You'd hit harder with actual Blood Blade. It's one of the few non somber AoWs that outperforms the somber weapon AoW.
@@DooDoo-f4v you don’t hit as fast. I got blood blade backblades too, but for casual attacks i go with the daggers. But as weapon skill i guess blood blade is better than reduvias
Yeah let's take +35% damage and lose HP over time while staying under 20% health.
Or just do a pure str build.
Or if your lazy do a blasphemous blade build lol.
Imagine not being level 713
Did somebody Say "DAMAGE"?
yeah but then you have to build intelligence
"rukhchasaa"😂
One shotted by a greatsword user
As good as the Elon Musk build 🤣 just missing the two shields!
After a billion buff,drinks and items..etc..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why waste so much time just to get oneshot by boss and some off buffs will not even apply ?
No wonder when I join people to help they die in 1 or 2 hits.
Shard wouldn’t work for this
