Esta canción habla sobre el despertar de conciencia y el despertar espiritual. Desconozco que es lo que la banda plantea o ha dicho sobre este tema pero estoy 100% seguro que la temática es hacer que el oyente se de cuenta de que vivimos en una fantasía que llamamos realidad pero que en realidad estamos soñando este presente. Es por eso que te invitan a ser consciente de ti mismo. El principio de la letra platea que estamos en un ensueño donde comenzamos a vivir la vida plenos, radiantes y llenos de amor, así como cuando somos pequeños infantes. Esa es la naturaleza humana que hay en todos nosotros y que solo con el tiempo y al dejar de ser consientes de esto la perdemos, frénanos o limítanos nuestra capacidad de pensar y sentir cómo niños, nos llenamos de contradicciones, responsabilidades, de tratar de gustar a otros, de darle mucha importancia a nuestra vestimenta, a nuestra personalidad. Póngase atención a la parte donde dice - la gente solo observa la ropa y los hechos, más nunca sienten lo que hay dentro de sus pechos❤, no existe entre ellos una real conexión-… es decir a todo lo que nos limita a crecer en mente y espíritu. Si no han captado este mensaje es porque aún no están preparados y en un despertar de conciencia o camino espiritual, para comprender el contexto los invito a que escuchen nuevamente la letra bajo esta perspectiva y y si no me creen pongan especial atención al estribillo donde dice - no estoy tan convencido de vivir en esta vida- porque efectivamente, ellos saben que estamos en realidad, soñandola y que en algún momento, a través de la muerte, despertaremos a otra realidad. Y cómo lo dice al final de toda esta primera sección el mensaje es claro y contundente- y aunque te sientas un poco distante (de ti mismo y de tu humanidad y tu divinidad) tu alma lo dice a cada instante- ¡MARAVILLOSO MENSAJE! El Gran Silencio is a fucking great band, no other mexican band has mixed cumbia, rap, reggae, punk, ska, polkas, norteño and rock like these men in their history, these dudes are pioneers in musical mexican scene, but there are people who don't want to accept it, their musical background is HUGE they have influences by radical basque rock, punk, progressive rock, colombian cumbia, rocksteady and many other genres just to make a unique sound. Really, they are one of the best, their lyrics, uuuuuhhh! Beautiful, painful and deep in majority. Maybe in 2000 or 2001, I went to the “ Amnesia” , a very nice or fancy TD bar in Monterrey, Hometown of el gran silencio ...and they were (the band) like any “Mortals”... very Humble, no matter they were like artistic or musical gods at that time... the people loved their presence in that place.... good times, respect.
