Floor is sitting, sang half a tone over Heart`s version of 1987 and much more slower, great breath control and very emotional... really beautiful!
The original song is actually by i-Ten from 1983, Heart did a cover in 1987.

My guess is that Joost, Floor's After Forever bandmate, is on the piano since Floor recently mentioned that she is working on a few solo projects with him.

Once again hailing from Finland. I has not been many hours since Floor uploaded this cover & it is already gone viral with many reactions, the fastest only minutes after she uploaded this.
Floor covered this song already in 2007 with her band "After Forever", with her band partner & friend Joost van den Broek on piano. Joost played the piano also for this new cover & Floor is also recording her 1st solo album with him.
Once again she made the song her own & I think that Ann Wilson would agree as she was already very impressed with the 2007 cover, and this is even more emotional with stellar vocals & interpretation.
And there is the cover from Baltic Princess or whatever was the name of that cruise ship.

It’s great that Floor is releasing these songs. Makes our lives joy and happiness! She is a master at creating emotions and I am happy to let her take and lead my feelings. That moment in life!
The pianist is familiar from her After Forvever times: Joost van den Broek.
But it would be great to hear this song performed by Nightwish sometime again, live. Floor vocals, Tuomas piano, Kai drums and Marko, Emppu and Troy on guitars (3 guitarists at the same time!).
This song is special for me.. I was born in te 70's and lived the 80's... Floor brings me back to those days.. Thank you very much Mr Olly :)

Hi Olly, you express my exact thoughts on how you experience Floor giving the real 100% and being able to tie you emotionally within a few seconds. Your thoughts on this challenge me to see Dimash likewise, like you do. Although I know Floor sees herself as a technical geek I see this emotional connection not as something theatrical or technically achieved. Of Dimash I'm not always sure in that regard. It feels more that he finds the emotional extravaganzas/expressions that one can reason out to fit to the lyrics and add this to his undisputed enormous vocal capabilities.
However, I'm gonna try again to let him touch my heart!
FYI Heart's version was done in 1987, but the original was done by a band named I 10 in 1983 , She's amazing you noticed her shirt (I Howl & Roar because I'm not afraid anymore )

She certainly wanted to challenge herself a bit by singing while she is sitting there and not even sitting with her body straight. And to belt like that. :-D Joost is really great at what he does as he was also the guy who played the piano for "Strong" by After Forever. Speaking about Joost and him being the producer for Epica´s upcoming album, have you already heard Epica´s singles for the album?
I loved this version, she did one with nightwish band on a cruise that was cool as well.
I already commented on your Wold Rock channel but just wanted to add that I think it's a good idea to pause a video nowadays if you want to avoid those stupid copyright strikes. Do whatcha gotta do to keep the channel up and running, sharing great music with everybody. Cheers!
