Buses in Stevenage 30/12/2021

Buses in Stevenage on 30th December 2021. The current bus station is due to be replaced shortly by a new facility nearer to the rail station, while Arriva have recently repainted StreetLite 4288 in yellow / blue SuperBus livery to mark the 50th anniversary of that brand's use by London Country on local flat-fare Stevenage routes from 1971.

It’s a shame arriva are so dominant in Stevenage because it’s honestly one of the worse bus services ever experienced. I miss the busses in st.Albans and Uxbridge.

Perhaps at some point, but probably not in the near future. In terms of that area Reading is more of a priority for me, that said it may be possible to get to another town on the same day.

What happened to Centrebus?? Why are there not many of their routes operating anymore? It's Strange as I thought Centrebus shared Routes with Arriva.

Centrebus still operate a couple of services in the area but have closed their Stevenage base. Some of their other routes are now run by Central Connect or Richmond's Coaches.
