    Great analysis and so accurate!
    As an Everton fan I think we will be fine I think Everton have more than enough credit in the bank for people not to write them off just a few games in, because Everton always almost always start poorly but then pick it up as season goes along especially now with Friedkin coming in its likely we’ll be pretty fine by end of season. I can be pretty confidently say I don’t think we’ll be going down I’ve been going through this for a few years now its to be expected Everton start badly

    4 points in the past two games with players coming back from injury suggests things aren't as bleak as they were a fortnight ago. Without the points deductions last year, Everton would've finished mid-table.

      Everton are in exactly the same position as they were last year (first win in game 6 with one draw and 4 defeats and also several good performances that ended in defeat) and had it not been for the points deduction would have finished mid table comfortably. They are turning things around. As they did last year.

    As a lifelong Liverpool fan, watching Everton struggle is something I wouldn't mind at all. But at the same time, it would be a real shame to see such a big club get relegated. Deep down, I hope they find a way to survive and get back to where they belong. #YNWA

    Excellent video, with a thoughtful, fair and intelligent commentary. To answer the final question: this season Everton need no more than to make sure that they stay in the Premier League; next season they need to stabilise - no boardroom dramas, no financial adventures - and to start taking advantage of the increased income stream from the new stadium, finishing comfortable lower mid-table; the following season win more than we lose, finish top ten; the season after start pushing for European places. So 4 years for me, assuming that Friedkin does indeed introduce stability.

    quite a good reflection on a club so badly operated and managed since MOYES departure with on board the most loyal and given fans in the country,, they are truly amazing and proud. Everton fans are the strength and spine of a wonderful club who for to long let us all down, we will be back

    It's a great video, but the modern attitude toward participation could be more decisive. To compete is a cop-out to ensure you win the Silverware!
    Finishing 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and so on is not a success, perhaps in business terms, but as a supporter, winning trophies is the end game; anything else is a failure or compensation!

    The new ground was key in the takeover of Everton, I can’t overstate the importance of a new ground has on investment, if.goodison park was kept then redevelopment costs would be huge, I love Goodison but the old girl has had her day, the new stadium will be a massive boost commercially to Everton.

    I am not sure. I hope they are not relegated . The Friedkin group didnt make good decision. They fired Jose and De Rossi this year. I feel that the football is better managed by supporters like how Borussia Dortmund is .

    “Deservedly earned the trust of the fans at Goodison Park” was enjoying the video up to this point, has he earned the trust of the fans? Maybe this video was made before the start of this season but surely this fella knows half (maybe more) of Goodison would love to see the back of him.

      Just like they wanted Gordon out and then he goes on to score 14 goals in his first season, goals Everton could have done with.

    • @arthur_8757
      @arthur_8757 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TheCompleteGuitarist no clue how that’s relevant to dyche but alright I’ll give you that point mate. Our fans did hound Gordon out the club pretty disgraceful and never something we should do to a good player and local lad, it was definitely more of a symptom of the circumstances at the time, frank playing shite football all players looked disinterested. Did you see any videos of our fans chasing Dwight McNeil or iliman ndiaye down the road? No so don’t understand what the Gordon situation has to do with some fans wanting dinosaurs dyche out.

    • @TheCompleteGuitarist
      @TheCompleteGuitarist 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@arthur_8757 Because they are capable harrasing people to leave the club. We saw it recently when Everton played Spurs. Abusive fans harrasing players in public.
      Dyche out is all we hear. They should be grateful he saved the club as they would have been relegated without him.

    • @arthur_8757
      @arthur_8757 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TheCompleteGuitarist I appreciate the point about harassment of players/people around the club, what I will say is it’s a MINORITY that put a grim stain on the clubs image, I know true Evertonians would never be apart of that kind of behaviour and it unfortunately gets shown around more than our actual proper fans. The dyche point still stands, you clearly and thankfully haven’t had to sit through 90 minutes of each performance. He’s kept us up under very tough circumstances I sympathise with that, saying that he’s not the man to take us forward into bramley Moore and that’s the reason I believe so many fans want him gone already. His football is satisfactory at best at absolutely horrific at worst. Anyway you seem like you’ve get your head screwed on well mate and I always appreciate and value other fanbases opinions looking from the outside 👍
