I enjoyed the first part of this movie along with the cg scenes of outer space. They were fascinating. It got very romantic after that and both the leads were very good. Lots of crying time included. Yang Yang is downright gorgeous and sexy. This old lady can dream.

Like that stuff about there being "bad people" in showbiz and that jingjing must have "made sacrifices" and like what is she even getting at. I tried to be understanding of here when she just hurled hurtful stuff at him in their previous meeting like oh there must be more to it but now?? Wtf does she want him to say?
She seems like a narcissist that doesn't want anyone els to win. I don't think she ever cared for YuTu, she simply pursued him because she didn't want Jingjing to be with him. In high school and in the present. That's why her previous complaints about him don't matter now because how dare he be with JingJing. I laughed at her overwhelming confidence that she could just flash her pretty smile and he would immediately fall for her again. The audacity for her to insinuate that JingJing slept her way to the top made me so angry. I loved how quickly YuTu squashed her by saying she was so out of line to contact him like this after all this time and came to JingJing's defense. She thinks that he is with JingJing just because she is famous, but little does she know her constant pressuring him into being something he didn't want to be was what ruined their relationship, and Jingjing just wants him to be happy.
They do. The drama is also about the triumphs of the Chinese aerospace. Not a mere forgettable romance like the Oath of Love which did not make surgery very attractive given the risks of unreasonable social media complaints and personal trauma. To me that other drama despite the hype, missed its aim, whereas the aerospace industry continues and achieved the construction of the next space station when the ISS was off limits to the Chinese. Another drama that deals with space is Forever and Ever, btw. Both are extremely romantic masterpieces and will help families accept their children's dreams of contributing to do research in space. We already got the hint that this industry spinned off air purifiers, and that's just an example. All c-dramas convey a message to strive for progress in some way.
I think those scenes are important because they show us what kind of man Yu Tu is. He's a natural leader who doesn't give up when he encounters a failure. Instead he tries to figure out the cause and makes another attempt. His ability to handle failure and his willingness to keep trying will become important as the show moves along.
I don't like the ex like seriously girl grow the fish up why bother you tu you were the one broke up with him due to upcoming financial issues saying you would be the one to provide if you both were to be wed who he decides to luv has nothing to do with u
I always hate bitchy exes. Gui Mo didn't have these kind of entanglement in her novels. Its always the melodramatic loving scriptwriter that have to add in a nasty second FL or wicked second ML. I hate stories of exes. Disappointing.
From my perception the ML is just a selfish jerk who accepted his ex girlfriend's love coz she ws more capable at that time n now he choose Jingjing coz she is more successful now
