- Learn the best way to get from the Internation Airport outside of Medellin Colombia. the Airport name is José María Córdova International Airport. I will show you what to do when you get there and how to get from the airport to El Poblado Barrio in Medellin.
The most cost-effective is the bus. The best option for me is Uber which currently only cost me around $15 USD and now only takes less than 20 minutes to get to the city.

Before you travel you can order foreign currency from your Bank. That way you have Colombian Pesos before your reach Colombia.the rates are better than in Colombia

have you been to Medellin recently? Im wondering if uber is reliable? I may need to catch a late flight home at 1AM so I can't afford to have any setbacks with transportation.
Just curious.....Uber is illegal in Colombia and the Uber drivers want you to sit in the front. So....Do I have to sit in front while my girl sits in the back or will they squeeze both of us in the front or only 1 person can take an Uber (especially from the airport)????

I believe so. I have Verizon so my phone was already working.
When I tried to use the Airport WIFI to get an uber, it blocked it. Uber couldnt connect. I had to use a vpn to use Uber. Its straight everywhere else in the city tho.
