Same thing used to happen to me all the time. Turns out that there was someone with a similar name to mine on the watch list. I had get a traveler's redress number from TSA to correct the problem. The redress number needs to be added when you purchase the tickets
I feel you on that one. Usually I have no issues going back into the U.S. or with TSA. Last year when I when flew directly from Medellin to Boston I got a whole bunch of questions from the CBP agent. He asked, "How long was in Colombia?" "What was I doing there? " What kind of work do I do and what company do I work for?" Also when I flew from Mexico City into JFK airport this October, I saw something I have never seen before in my life. There were ten armed CBP agents with search dogs on the jetway checking out everybody and their luggage as we got off the plane. That was crazy!
Lol that's how it was when I got off the plane the first time back from Medellin. The CBP agents right off the runway when you exit the plane and I got selected to be questioned and have my stuff searched lol. I never have issues with TSA I mean they always pull me to the side because they trying to figure out about my drone or the liquor I'm bringing back but I understand that they think they see something. Thanks for watching though.

I get hit alot in MIA returning from DR. I told the TSA guy last time I get searched almost everytime. He told me it's because I'm traveling alone on an international flight.
@@djtopz757 oh ok. They search me all the time to but its usually because of something they think they see on the scanner or when I'm bringing alchohol back. My experience hasn't been to bad with TSA.
I got pulled by Policia Nacional on the way back to the states this past Monday. I went through that initial door, you know once you check in at the kiosks? The first officer took my passport and when I saw the way his eyes kept going back and forth from me to my passport slowly, I knew something was up. He gave it back to me then I went to the area where you take off your stuff and put your bag through. When they reversed the belt, they went through my things and started asking me why I was there, how long, what was I doing there and so forth. Another officer came out of nowhere and asked for my passport again and had the initial officer take me to a room that's off of the security area. He took my passport and went somewhere, where, I don't know and the other guy had me put my stuff on a table sit down (I didn't check a bag). The last thing I ever want is to be separated from my passport, rather let someone take it out of my control. I was trying to text someone from the travel group I was with (I was down there with Richie Rich and the crew) and let them know what was up, but he told me to put my phone away. A couple of other officers came in and they started talking amongst themselves. They then had me go through a body scanner and of course I passed and had me sit down again. The other officer came in, gave me my passport and cut me loose. I got the fucc outta there quickly lol. I did have to kind of repack my stuff to fit into Spirit's personal item measurements. I wasn't nervous like I was when I'm stopped by the police in the US but still, you don't know what could happen when you are in a place like Colombia, because they can decide to keep you as long as they want, even if you didn't do anything. As a matter a fact, they were respectful, but polite and firm. Doesn't taint my great experience in Colombia at all and in fact, I can't wait to go back. I do want to say to anyone reading this just be prepared if you get picked. Remain calm, don't panic and do what they say. Also, get rid of anything that could be questioned that would cause extra scrutiny. This is another reason I don't bring a lot or take back anything. I also got to the airport three hours before my flight just in case.
Brooooo this happened to me too. Exactly how you described it. Word for word. I was in colombia for 2 months visiting my girlfriend who lives in Cartagena. When I left back to the US, I flew out of Barranquilla. It was pretty scary not going to lie. The CBP took my passport and put it in his pocket. I was confused. The only thing that kept me calm was the other CBP. He was really nice. They gave me a paper to sign after they searched me. I asked the officer what I was signing but I couldn’t understand what he was saying. It was really weird. Either way, I made it back home. I hope I don’t ever have to go through that again.

When you're leaving Colombia just be prepared to go through the motions (remember this is a high narcotics corridor) their laws, their rules just play along. The first person to Interrogate you is the Airline clerk he/she will pretend to be your best friend and ask you 1001 questions about your trip( be careful what you say just stick to the tourist thing)next up is Sec. checkpoint, followed by the customs agent 1002 more questions (make sure you get your exit stamped on passport) when you clear go eat something anything trust me they are following you via closet circuit eating is proof no narcs was swallowed and last but not least be ready to be called again at the gate before boarding for an almost close to a cavity search by GUESS WHO? Your pretend best friend that checked you in at the counter. Yes most likely an undercover DEA agent. Clear that and ENJOY your flight back to the States or next destination. @@restlesman I will be out there November 21 to 24th. Send me your contacts
Yes they would hate me I know now to get a ticket I can reschedule cause these are personal questions I feel I don’t have to answer they can search me swab me idc but I’m not answering personal questions cause it’s really none of there business 💯
Thanks for the feedback
damn that's b.s. but you handled that well. Keep traveling
Definitely. They ain't about to stop my motion. Thanks for watching.
SSS. Man that sounds like terrible letters!
It is lol
Damn bro glad you ok. What's it like going into Medellin? I'm going next week, never been to Colombia and don't want any problems. I'm taking as little as possible and not bringing much back as far as souvenirs.
When I went through Miami from the DR surprisingly they didn't fuck with me. What's interesting though I went to Canada a couple of months ago and when they saw the DR stamp on my passport they asked me a million questions but didn't search my car. I also got hassled in Italy since they thought I was from one of the North African countries. You look like a chill dude but I would not be happy being fucked with either especially when you haven't done anything. The muthafukas they should be watching for don't look like you or me.
You have no problems going into Medellin. Just be careful bring coffee back they are big on that also. I seen a dude get his took during our random leaving Medellin.
@@PassportAction Thank you bro. Naw..i'm not bringing any coffee, liquor, cigars, none of that back. Man i just want to go have a good time and get my ass back here lol. We are having the WTU meetup.
Ok..what you can do. Is eat some beans before you get there. When they searching your back side. Let one tip in thier face
Theu will let u pass
Lol teach them a lesson
LOL...since they like fuck Wu..
Did they ask you to turn on your cell phone or laptop ? To look through it ?
They told the guy next to me to turn on his laptop after they swabbed him but they didn't tell me to turn mine on. He said it was a new laptop and it would not power on.
Passport Action so I’ve heard the customs in Colombia will check your phone and laptop to see if you have evidence if sex tourism etc. so keep your flix in a separate cloud or SD Card or something.. they doing too much. They should just be happy ninjas wanna come to their country and leave us be.
@@natiballa2007 I doubt they are worried about anyone's sex life. It's not illegal lol. It seems they are searching for drugs, contraband or explosive material. The swabs they did they put them in a machine that makes noises. I'm assuming based on the readings it says depends on how much further they decide to go.
that's way I hate going to Bogotá for some reason all the dark skin people are choose for the random checks literally every time.
I forgot I got randomly checked in Brazil when I was leaving. Another random search lol
They thought you were Muslim.
Why do you get the sss?
They suppose to randomly give it to you. I'm pretty sure it's also based on the answers you give them when they are asking you about your trip.
That's shit happens to me every time. Colombia is no joke. Plus uncle Sam down there watching still
I just came back from Cuba and they didnt mess with me for the first time in a while.
When you going back to Columbia?
You’ve been racially profiled based upon your appearance my brother
Appreciate the feedback. Thanks for watching.
You from the west coast?
Do they have drug-sniffing dogs when entering or exiting Colombia? I'm visiting from the U.S. in February 2020 and I want to bring a few marijuana joints. But I don't want to get in trouble.
You must like Colombian jail 🤔
@@PassportAction Never been... I just didn't know if marijuana is still illegal in Colombia... It's very relaxed here in california... I was hoping to bring a few joints but I guess I can't. That sucks.
@@bebop504 lol I wouldn't recommend it.
Glad that all went well Bra, I was thinking about going but f**k that shit. I'm going to Africa instead !
That's what's up. What country you going? I'll be going as well very soon.
What’s your next destination?
Videos coming very soon
That happened to me going into Cuba and leaving. I just happen to fit the phenotype of what a Mexican cartel dude would look like. Open my wallet, my bags, swab bullshit, and body scan me. I ask them why and they always say it's random. Then I tell them it because I look like a gangster huh? The Cuban official just shakes her head up and down as if to say yes. México does the same bullshit with all the questions and searches.
I have been in Colombia for 2 years now. I don't like it here anymore too many fake people. I prefer Brazil more authentic people.
What is some things that you been through that makes you say that?
@@PassportAction I got robbed at gun point in Bucaramanga walking to the store from my apartment. In Medellin I also got drugged and robbed at by this whore at my apartment. Since being in Colombia I just notice the people are very fake and very transactional. I am in Bogota now but next week I will be in brazil. I prefer brazil I feel the people are much more authentic.
@@didyouknowamazingfacts2790 wow that's ruff. Just know that these type of things can happen anywhere so be safe in Brazil. Thanks for viewing my channel
@@PassportAction Yes, I know. But this was the impression I had before that robberies. I feel like many aren't very authentic here. I feel like Brazilians are warmer and more open people on average. Also the nightlife in brazil is far superior.
I went through this in Omaha
Thanks for the feedback. Was it international flight or domestic?
I travel to Colombia 4 to 6 times a year, this is not uncommon and nothing to do with being Blk/wht nor Latino. Remember that we are guest of the countries that we visit being a US Citizen doesn't mean squat outside the US Embassy, use commom sense, be courteous and Have Fun.
I wasnt thinking about a black white latino thing until you just said it but after thinking back it was 2 black people including my self a white guy and a Asian guy lol all of us spoke english that was in the little room getting our stuff swabbed. I did not see any non english speaking people this happened to lol. The other black dude was pissed off because something about his coffee getting taken. The dude asked to speak with a supervisor he said he dont consent to this and they walked off. I later seen him board the plane before it took off. The Asian dude was pissed off because he said they do this to him every time. He carried on about some spy network stuff invading his privacy. They asked him to turn on his computer he said its brand new and cant power on and said that when this happens they always make him board the plane last so they always make him check his carry on bag because if it.
Also I really appreciate your feedback. The steps do go exactly as you explained. That was just 1 part of my video. The other part was once I get back into the USA then I got the CBP agents always doing a random on me lol thanks for watching.
I am enjoying your videos and your travels thanks for thaking the time to respond, it's true that they have several countries flagged U.S., Asia, Dom. Rep. To name a few but this are places that traffic often. Keep bringing us great content lets get you to 10k subs👍
@@fernstv3138 Appreciate that. I'll keep the videos coming. Thanks again.
Lol. You balling too hard for them. It boggles their comprehension. Haters going to hate.
Lol they really gone hate all next year then. Thanks for watching strill.
I think I'll stick to the DR, never had a problem coming from there! Besides, too many silicone girls in Columbia, I like em natural!
Enjoy.
I agree Colombia is too fake. I prefer Brazil more authentic people.
Yeah, good advise yo. They (CBP) jammed me up in Miami on my way to Puerto Plata in the breezeway TO the plane, like who does this (leaving the US.?) Don't be fooled some of these dogs are not only for drugs but they can sniff out if you have a certain quantity of money on your person, plus they are also checking for warrants. Just answer the question they ask truthfully, don't be nervous and they'll stand there looking stupid when they let you board the plane. Plus they know the brothers leaving the country on vacations have PASSPORTS and TRAVEL and that's their WORST NIGHTMARE that brothers are woke and figured out how to leave the matrix sometimes permanently.
Thanks for the insight. They never said nothing to me when I was leaving yet so far.
Bro you gotta lawyer up and learn how to deal with SSSS unfortunately how you handle and prepare for it will make the difference for yourself. It’s hard to get off it but there are decent lawyers out there that can help you out some way bro
I've had SSSS on my boarding pass at least 2 or 3 times so far. I also get random searches from homeland security coming back into Miami almost every time lol. From here on out I'm not answering no more questions I'm telling them so let's just get to the searching so we can get this over with lol.
Dope smuggling mules are nothing new but he is clearly being profiled.
@@PassportAction. Ask them to be honest about what you can do to prevent being profiled 100% of time. Is it the clothes, the hair, the swag? Ask them what is it so maybe you can make adjustments and step your travel style up.
@@PassportAction "If your boarding pass has the letters SSSS printed on it, it means your card is quite literally marked and you’re all set for a thorough examination. The letters stand for Secondary Security Screening Selection and if they appear on your boarding pass, it means your name is on a highly classified roster - the Selectee List."
If you really want to push back, then you need to take notes and keep records of this every time and keep going back to your lawyers. There is no promise that this will help, but this will create a track record that you can use to go to court one day and force TSA to evidence why it is you have been placed on the Selectee List. This list is a mixture of known/suspected/alive & deceased terrorist and criminals/human rights violators etc and many people end up there for weird and mixture of reasons.
