      Yes Uber is usually way to go. There were some cities and years where Uber wasn’t available in Colombia. Glad to hear it’s available!

    Thank you for this very informative video. I booked Columbian Buddy to take me from airport to a town south of Medellin. Would you recommend taking picture of driver, license plate, upon pickup to be safe? Or would this be unecissary.

      That's an intelligent idea. I did not do it myself. You can politely ask the driver if you are able to do so, if you want to feel more sure.
      I recommend definitely CONFIRMING that the driver is with colombian buddy. Other subtle ways you can do is communicating with Colombian Buddy on WhatsApp. You can ask about the drivers name and license plate on WhatsApp, and then checking to see in real life. Ask to see a receipt or voucher showing the driver was to pick you up on his/her phone.
      Overall I had a good and reliable service from them, so the things above wouldn't be difficult to ask.

    My first time trip to bogota is coming up soon . Since I don’t have international phone coverage how can I communicate the driver thru WhatsApp when I land in bogata ?

      There is free wifi at the airports in Colombia. Buy a sim card and a data plan once you get a chance.

    I'm going to Bogota next month so how do I schedule Columbian Buddy is there an app or something

    • @iVuDang
      @iVuDang  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can book it through their website, google Colombian Buddy. I can’t share link here because TH-cam doesn’t allow link sharing. You can also check if Uber is available (some cities allow, some don’t)

      I recommend using Google Translator on your phone to get by in situations you need to use Spanish. Get sim card and data so you can use the app!
