- Well hello there, and salams... as I am here typing this message and uploading this video - I cannot help but feel a bit of an imposter syndrome with the whole TH-cam and vlogging world. I have felt so down and so low on energy for the longest time, that when I finally felt the urge to pick up my camera and create some content - I just went for it without allowing myself to second-guess it and talk myself out of it.

Oh my gosh Eileeen, "I have nothing interesting going on in my life" and yet you are running a whole SUPPORT GROUP - this is AMAZING, very, very cool and I really wish this was more common place. I did my first Ramadan nearly 4 (!) years ago, but I still struggle in many ways. If you could move this online I think you'd have people queueing around the block to join... Alhamdulillah very happy to see you back and mashallah for your ability to be so kind and welcoming to new muslims.
The requests for something similar online have truly been...A LOT. But so far I can't think of a way to properly organize it because you guys are from all around the planet - how to filter who gets to join and who not, how to manage time zones, how to limit group size, how to limit who gets the mic and when...It's a lot more complex haha! In out group we are between 12-20 women and face-to-face and we have 2 hours each time to speak about whatever troubles (or brings joy) each and every girl in the room...maybe you could start something similar wherever you live! just an idea ;)

I wish I could get involved with the centre in some way as I do Gratitude healing for Muslim women. As a convert it's so beautiful to see someone who's been through similar things living a beautiful life. It gives so much hope than you would know. Missed seeing your face 💛 I’m not a convert, but my mama is polish and although I grew up with my parents being Muslim my mama didn’t know a lot about Islam. Hi, its just so surreal to me to hear you speak Estonian as a Finnish speaker. I did understand some of it, specially when you were reading to your daughter and I think thats cool. Also about Palestine, you can’t help but think of them every waking hour and to see the world just being normal and everybody around you so unbothered. I can’t help but think why isn’t everybody SO DISTRAUGHT. It feels so lonely sometimes but Insh justice will prevail. We just have to help any way we can and make lots of dua. Keep going, I love your content and its good to see you back in youtube😀

So happy to see you put Lily to bed quite early, I'm a revert also from Europe and when I see kids being put to bed at 9PM or 10PM just gives me anxiety. I used to go to bed at 7PM as a kid and I think it's making it easier for parents and the kids learn to be early birds. Hope you'll keep vlogging insha'Allah!
Why anxiety?😅 I used to go to bed at 9:30pm as a kid (I'm European) and am still okay till today 😂
I had to go to bed at 7:00 PM when I was little, I hated it. I was so happy when I got to go to bed at 8:30. Haha,

How I wish there was a support group when I became muslim 🥲
Many tears dropping on my prayer mat in sujood, but I remember reminding myself I have Allah and he is sufficient. But still so nice to have people to relate to and give you strength to push through those hardships.
It's truly a beautiful thing that you are able to do this, even if it would reach just 1 person, it's worth it.
May you receive all the blessings from it and may Allah make it easy on all reverts 🤲

I am biased but I think life in Qatar is pretty amazing, lol. Especially looking at the rest of the world today. Who knows maybe one day you'll journey will take you to this side of the world!
i'm over a decade younger than you and you are one of very few Muslim influencers who i like, so i say this with love and grace, but life in Qatar is amazing for you as a privileged white woman, but it's not so amazing for all the workers from south Asia and Africa (many of whom are also Muslim) who are abused, and whose human rights are violated. as is the case with most wealthy countries in the world, the vast wealth comes from the abuse and exploitation of minorities. i think it's disingenuous when influencers living in the Gulf try to portray the countries they are living in as much better than countries in the West, when often they are equally as complicit in human rights abuses. many people are living in poverty in the Gulf nations, it's just that people don't care because it's primarily black and brown people from the global South that are affected. i hope that my comment has given you some food for thought, because again, i do like you @@Eslimah May Allah bless you and your family, and open your eyes to the suffering of those that you may not have been aware of

So nice to watch your videos again! Lily is such a beautiful child! I did notice that she has a front facing car seat, in my country and I'm rather sure that Estonia has similar recommendation of having a rear facing car seat until at least the age of 4 or as long as the child fits to a rear facing car seat (about age 6-7 years). It is the safest way to a young child to travel. Snowy greetings from Finland. ❤
Her daughter is way too big to be rear facing.
Her height passes 1 meter.. she measures like a 4 year old and car seats are based on height not on age necessarily so there is no way she could be in the opposite direction! 😅
omG Eileen we need youuu on this platform!! The internet is full of fake people showing us fake lives, making us more and more depressed, isolated, sick. Youre one in a billion who's still down to earth, who doesnt care to pretend to be someone she isn't, who is REAL. WE NEED THIS. You might think your content is boring but wallah it is much much more appealing and interesting to us simple people because we can actually relate!!!! For example: as a stay at home mom I always feel alone and think I'm leading an uninteresting life and there is probably so much more to life but it's just me whose lifestyle is boring. But then I see you standing in your kitchen, preparing food for your toddler and I think to myself well see thats how everyone lives. Long story short: we need you ❤😁

just came across your video and I really enjoyed it, and I get what you mean about not being like excited about eid because I´m the same, my parents are from different religions so when it was xmas my mums side would make it so special and I absolutely loved it! the presents, decoration, music... but for eid and ramadan it was just a nice day/month. this year I have a 10 month old and determined to make ramadan the most special time ever! I was thinking of getting or making an advent calendar, some activity books for the month, stories, pijamas..(make a ramadan box) kinda get the ideas from xmas and convert them into the ramadan vibe 😁

Asalamoalakum habibti just want to advise you that lash extensions are not allowed as the glue blocks water from penetrating to the eyelashes when making wudu, for a halal alternative you can get a lash lift because it provides a similar result using a perm instead.

Hey! for adults? I would do TH-cam videos instead of books if it's for adults. (mufti menk, yasir qadhi etc.) Much more in depth and you can take your own notes etc.
