@@pepehorhae Lerdsila is more agile, evasive, and defensive. Saenchai is more powerful, durable, and offensive, while still being defensively responsible and evasive. Other than that, they're pretty similar.
tyson hands, buakaw kicks, lerdsila reflexes, strategic like ali. thats a complete fighter, regardless of style/school

I agree i have seen a few matches now with him and he take it kind of easy with non-thai's. Then i saw him in a match against a thai and his focus was 100%. He is very respectful i have seen so i guess he use the power needed to win by points.

helps with catching kicks, esp ones to the body. And since he can reliably slip punches, having a tight guard isn't really an issue
Organizations like Glory and UFC should be doing everything they can to bring this sort of talent to their ranks ...

also the ufc treats their fighters bad if they dont act like they want them to. idk about glory but we have currently with sittichai a thai champion in the i think 145 lbs and he didnt get fucked by the judges so far, gets good promotion and treatment as far as i know. ofc its not muay thai so no clinch no elbows. its a different game.
You realise thai fighters have emaculate balance? They do dumps/throws and teeps, because at a high level they have with muay thai, for them to learn jits or wrestling they would learn quick, im not saying they would be world class olympic level wrestlers or pro bjj practioners, but they can transition well..
Look at thai fighters or kickboxers, joana,shevshenko, spong, vanroostman, holly holm, cerrone, till, saki,semmy shiltz.. all with striking backgrounds and did well in mm
I hate peoples ideas that they say "they would get out wrestled in mma"
A lot mma fighters came in with grappling backgrounds, transistioned, turned ouf great strikers..

In an interview he said he isn’t faster than other fighters. He said he can read what they are going to throw and he’s already moving by the time they are throwing it.

Awesome and inspiring. Very reminiscent of a video of Mohammed Ali just slipping and dodging strikes from various opponents, not even striking back, just constantly evading, as though he's telling the other fighter, "You can't touch this." Anyway, thanks for another great video, gotta look up some more Lerdsila now...
