The 78 - 81 camaros are without a doubt my favorite years of the camaro. I bought a 79 camaro last year which is my dream car! Whoever gets this is a very fortunate person!
1978 was the 1st year this body style of Z/28 came out. My best friend, God rest his soul, bought a red one with a 4 speed. It ran pretty good for that year of car, it rode like a comfort car, unlike the 69 through 73 Z/28's. Now those cars, you knew that they were made for performance. I loved the Z/28's that came only with a 4 speed, back in the days. Nope, the Z's back then, you couldn't buy a new one with an automatic. Fun, FUN TIMES at "Ridgemont High"! HA! 😃🤣🤪🤫😎Being COOL was the rule....
@Jeffrey B , That's what I meant to say was those dern plastic bumpers made them look alike. Now, the 74 Z/28 were really the last one that I kinda still liked. It still had the small back window. The aluminum bumpers were OK, and the HUGE stripes with the big, tall lettering of Z/28 on the hood and trunk was kinda neat. I had a girlfriend that had the 74 Z, it was a pale yellow and it had a 4 speed, which made the car more fun. Taking off hard in first gear and banging it into 2nd was fun. Also, from a dead stop, in an area big enough, I'd say about 30'X30' was enough room to crank the wheels hard left and hold it there, bring up the tach to 4 grand and slowly lift the clutch pedal until you felt it ever so slightly touching, then lift your foot up as fast as possible and let the donuts begin! Oh how FUN was that? Do about 4 or 5 and time it just right to turn out of it and come smoking your tires out to the street from a narrow alley between 2 buildings and then just stopping in time to be able to jump out of the car, move out to the front, butt on the front end and just being cool as could be as the smoke came billowing out and over as the cruising crowd drives by looking at YOU! SAA-WEEEET! FUN TIMES!

The 73 RS, LT Z/28 with the 350 V8 and 4 speed was fun, fast cornering, doing donuts, burn outs and just quick, on the street or highway. OK, ok, enough from me. I ran a 78 z28 with T tops. Broke into the 10s in Vegas and torqued the unibody.... miss that car. It never tracked right after that run even after we squared it back up and tied the front and rear sub assemblies together.
Mine is silver with blue stripe and interior. Got it in 1986, parked it in 1999 when I got a 99' SS. Not as fast as the 99, but put over 200,000 miles on it ,drove it all the time, back in the day and had a whole lot of fun. It was stock for the most part, top speed was 135 mph and I only loss to one TA and it had nitro.

I had a burgundy 79 z28 with orange and black striping, everything in the dash quit working on it also and the doors weighed a ton, glad I got rid of it, I like that white better than mine, especially the wheels

I have a 76 type Lt that is silver with the black vinyl top with the blue cloth interior car has 54,000 miles on the odometer the car is in excellent condition bought it a couple years ago I have it covered and in a garage
if someone called you out about anything they are not a car guy...no doubt you cant mention everything but you do a good job showing the car and that will save a lot of time for someone shopping for an F body.
Hello Nick, thats a beauty. This will make your eyes water. Yesterday I paid £1.66 per litre for shell 97 octane. My old range rover at the minute is costing 53 pence per mile. A 200 mile tank is costing £106 . But I don't drink, smoke , or shag. Got to have something in life. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

I remember racing a guy with that same car I had a 78 Z28 skark vents Red and black rally sport paint job very rare you see those mine had a 305 in it with headers with cherry 🍒 bombs on it you heard this car before you saw it with a turbo 400 the stories I can tell about that car definitely one I should've kept this car will not last long
If i had a rubber leg I'd kick my own ass for selling mine. One of the best cars I've ever owned. Mine was a 1979 that I bought new when I was 20 years old but with the same paint scheme. Somebody better buy this one before I start thinking of some good lies to tell my wife.

Cool z28 got a few leaks. And it's got headers which is cool.that would be a good cruise night car.
