This type of analysis is why I always laugh at the comments of things being rigged. Once you begin to understand the Xs and Os of football and see how much of a chess game mixed with a war this sport it is - you see that the finalists are in the SB because they're the best. Not because of it being rigged

To be fair, missed calls and bad calls from the refs will keep the “this game is rigged!” group alive and well until we just start allowing more liberal use of playback tech or implement AI to monitor plays for potential fouls. Both of these would slow the game down way too much though, so I doubt we’ll ever see this
100 percent most NFL games are rigged. The refs can make calls that can change a game. Only dummies think the game is not rigged. Vegas has all those big buildings for a reason.

I'm loving the in depth analysis that goes into, what most forget, is the most important part of the game. After handling San Fran the way they did, and how the Chiefs just manage to get by each team, with these high grade QB's. I'm seeing a 35-28 Eagles victory
I’m an Eagles fan and I really enjoy the strategy, the X and O tactics and the skilled execution of successful plays. Shows like yours are what I crave the kmost. It’s very well explained verbally and visually with your showing blocking patterns and showing complicated plays several times really helps fans understand how complex football really is. The fact that the first thing Andy Reid said on-field after the game was to say the o-line held up just shows thinkingfootball was spot on here. The Chiefs o-line was perfect and that’s how they won.
People also ignoring the fact that the Bengals were down multiple O line starters when talking about how KC shut them down. Spags is well known for having great post-season scripts but I think it's important to look at who the KC defense was playing and the situations they played under.
Going to be pretty close. It’s hard to bet against Mahomes/Reid/Kelce and their experience in the big game, but I believe the Eagles are slightly the more complete team. I trust the Eagles a tad more in the trenches on both sides of the ball than KC. To be clear, a KC win wouldn’t be a shocker to me, but I think Eagles have the slight edge. Eagles win the Super Bowl 28-24.

It's crazy how majority of the points that he covered in this video, these teams did. The eagles dominated the first half by their dominant run game and giving Jalen Hurts time in the pocket. The eagles controlled the ball and had many methodical drives. They surprisingly gave the chiefs only eight positions. In the second half the chiefs took advantage of the gaps of the cover 6, used the mismatches in man, and used lots of motioning and RPO in the red zone. Both teams were slipping because of the horrible choice of grass but it didn't really matter in the long run. This super bowl was one of the better ones in past years.
The key to defeating the Eagles pass rush is to run directly at it. Andy Reid doesn't believe that running the ball is winning football (I know, I'm an Eagles fan who remembers when he coached here). He'll need to fight his own instincts to give Mahomes the time he's going to need against the Eagles D-line.
No one ever credits linesmen. Tom Brady could not have won 7 SBs and gone to 3 others without some amazing OLines over the years. The Giants were dynasty slayers with Eli bc their DLine was just that amazing at getting to Brady, and then Mahomes was helpless against the Buccs in that SB. The trenches matter.

I think people are overstating Hurts' injury too, his injury takes ~4-5 weeks to heal and it's almost been 2 months. I think Eagles will need to get after Mahomes without giving up quick looks to Kelce but if they do that they will win. Eagles offense seems more like a known quantity.
This was the one bit of analysis I disagreed on. Eagles have been very good this year at getting a left/right high/low rush and maintaining a disciplined rush. You can't really look at film from when they played Justin Fields and say it's an issue, because Fields did that to literally everyone.
Really good analysis here. Interesting that there is no footage from loss against Commanders. That game, as well as others games second half of season, illustrated that Eagles can be run on. Pass rush is awesome... run defense... not as awesome. Good... but a potential weakness to be exploited. 3rd and short (for KC) would help negate Eagles dominating pass rush. I'm still unsure of condition of Mahomie's ankle and he is the X factor. Assuming he is 90% or better (injury-wise), I'm going to predict 24-20 KC. They tend to convert in Red Zone and I'm still skeptical of Hurts vs. exotic coverages. We'll see. Even match up and I'm hoping for a good game. And PLEASE... PLEASE... REFS... don't spoil the game.
I doubt KC will play Jones as a DE much, if at all, unless it's an absolutely obvious dropback passing situation. If they line him up there Philly will just option off him, which effectively would take him out of the play. They did the same against Micah when they played the Cowboys and forced Quinn to move Micah off the ball. You just can't put your best defensive player in a position like that where he doesn't even get a chance to make an impact.
