We are retired, and we travel to places that were once thriving but are not doing so well now sharing our thoughts about the places we drive through. We focus on South Georgia, Middle Georgia, and other places surrounding us. Sometimes the places that we visit are doing well. We also visit places of interest like state parks, historical places, and museums. We try to be positive about the areas we go to because there is too much negativity in the world already.

Like your videos of south Georgia. I love it down that way. I live in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, up in the northwest Georgia hills, by Chattanooga.
I saw a Piggly Wiggly in this video, they are far and few between of those. We dont have those, Winn Dixie, and the nearest Kroger, is in Dalton, about 25 miles away. I used to be an over the road truck driver and would pass a Piggly Wiggly, up in northern West Virginia, right on the Ohio line. Very odd that I didn't see any no where else around those parts. Funny how different businesses are spread out, and some areas have none of the one and two or more of the one you never see.
I've been mainly watching videos on TH-cam, of all the destruction, of western North Carolina lately, was nice to see one of yours to pop up. May God keep blessing you and your wife. Go Dawgs!!

@@joelknight9425 we appreciate your comment. The Piggly Wiggly was out of business. The town has less than 800 people so I am guessing it wasn't profitable to keep it going. Your observation about businesses is spot on. If you want to watch someone who has a channel that lives in Kingsport Tennessee you might try Big O's Reviewz and Blogz.

@@joelknight9425 my brother and I remodeled a building so that a Dairy Queen could move in. That was in Lafayette, which I believe is not far away from Fort Oglethorpe. We have been through there going to Chattanooga.
