20 years ago I see Nada Surf for the first time in The Milky Way- Amsterdam. 12 nov 2016 I've see them again in Patronaat Haarlem and the concert was more than wonderful, it lift me up for several days.
I wish these good songs had less Ira Elliot in them. Singing I mean. He just powers through the softer and more sensitive voice of Matthew. It was especially painful on When I Was Young.
My father used to listen this band again and again when I was 9. I'm now 21 and still appreciate Nada Surf. They've got something special.

I don't agree. The little plus power from Ira's singing is cool. It adds dynamics whithin the songs in those acoustic versions. And I like his voice.

I heard from one of their shows that he doesn't enjoy touring as much anymore.
