I'm starting to like the custom enfield more than triumphs. Especially if you want a classic look. Personally I like a bit larger headlight and the stock gauges. But this bike is absolutely beautiful
I'm just looking around for some inspiration for my first bike, looking at a lot of Royal Enfield stuff and doing some work on it myself. Looks like a dream bike for me guys, I'd just want some knobbly tyres so I could look like the ultimate posing hipster parked up outside a cafe somewhere. Love the seat, love the tiny bright indicators, love the pipes and the tail tidy. Top job!
Love the bike, black and tan is tasteful just like a Guinness and Bass. Working on my 21 re650 int. Got a box of parts with no real time to wrench on it. Going for a retro street feel.
Great looking bike with some interesting mods. Wheels and Bates headlight make it look different. Love that tanned seat too! Not sure why RE stopped making the bike in black it’s a classic colour. I’m still doing various mods to mine so it’s always good to see different examples. Cheers
Very nice, I've got the trip machine seat on my interceptor scrambler build. But I think I'm going to go for a bench seat style like yours. Still keep the brown though. Looks awesome!
Hey folks! Well done on the bike! Can you give a few tips on how to hide the harness after swapping to bates headlight? I spent >2h on it today and still didn't find a way to do it without taking all bike apart.. Thank you in advance!!
Dope Build - problem with most Enfield builds is that they still look Nancy, these guys Guys have added a bit of style and masculinity to this build. Well Done !
Are those handlebars easy enough to fit yourself at home & do you have risers on them too to fit the mirror? I Keep going to buy them but then I fill my basket with all the other upgrades and it’s almost the same price as the bike again 😅 Love the bike, slowly going to upgrade mine over time in a similar way. I’ve fitted Indimotard mid controls which is great for positioning with my dodgy knee but pretty poor quality. I know tec are better but just don’t go forward enough. Anyways, thanks for the vid.
Thanks for the comment! Bars came with long cables for clutch etc. We had our extremely talented bike builder Cid install the bars and controls etc so I can’t go into too much detail. Please fire us a message on Instagram / Facebook if you require more information and we’ll reach out to Cid to help out.
Is the shortened frame section insert for the tail tidy steel? Can't see it on the Baak website. Have seen similar kits available from India but they are plastic/glass fibre which worries me a bit and seems a bit naff. Great job though.👍🏼

The balance between style and practicality is always a tough one to achieve. Unless we get caught out by some Welsh weather we're only going out in good riding conditions. 😅

I have a question about the tank paint. Why did the guys scratch/scrape/brush off the original paint to repaint it instead of using paint remover which would have been way easier? What difference does going with the process you guys chose make and why?! It would be helpful. Thanks. 😊 P.S. I too think the tan goes well with the black. 😅
Hey Indraneel, we wanted that brushed aluminium style for the tank design to match the texture of the side panels and bar. We used a company called Valkyrie paintworks who did a brilliant job! The tank is one of the features we love most about the bike. The quality of finish is second to none. If there’s any further questions on the process, probably best to flick them a message.
I think it's appeal is in the day-to-day practicality a flat tracker can present. We love a cafe build and definately will get our teeth into one soon but I have to say this has been a pleasure to get plenty of miles on.
Nicely put together. But im just finding these brat/whatever bike builds a bit boring now. They just seem a check book build but not original. Will take a close look soon. Btw i like the moto gadget kit.
@@BaffleHaus around a Z900RS. Not seen many. But paint (got to be), dymags, ohlins. 4:2 pipes. Beringer 4 disc brakes. Your build is good don't get me wrong. But you, missenden flyer, bike shed and many others just too samey. The RE does lend itself to mods thats its charm.

Thank you 🙏🏻
Nice job guys, im hoping to get my own interceptor this year and start modifying, what a great platform to start from.

Pretty much 😄☀️🏁

Thanks! Pipes sound great, passes UK MOT.

Very nice bike. What handlebars did you mount?
Handlebars from BAAK, worth a look at their kits available.

Hey I'm changing my stock headlight to bates' like those. Where'd all the wiring from inside the stock headlight? Under the tank?

Thanks, can't remember now sorry, check their website for pricing.

Shortening front mudguard might result in less protection for the rider from rain and muck being flung up from the front wheel

Reducing the back pressure from exhaust pipes changes the fuel map.
Our understanding is the ecu on board does a great job at adjusting to extra airflow from DNA filter and mount, also with the pipes. Runs perfectly!
I have to mention the seat. It needs to be a darker aged brown. Otherwise very nice. Love the bars.
😁 It does go darker when it rains if that helps.
Holy sh#t!!!! ,excellent bike and sexy as hell !!!........now where's my check book ?
can you do a gt 650 build?
Maybe in the future, we have some developments on the Baffle Haus side at the moment so stay tuned for updates!
so 90% of parts came from BAAK SHOP ?
Unfortunately I can't give you a precise percentage... but yes, it was our pleasure to get as much BAAK involved in this build as possible.
Re tyres-not important that they "look cool" but that they PERFORM!
To be fair, they perform fantastically well whilst looking great aslo 👍🏻
❤❤❤👍👍👍👍

i think custom hs lost its meaning seem all custom re 650 take the same flat tracker style

I like the seat, but why not matching grips?
Then again, I have a beard.
haha, didn't really have the option to match exactly and we feel the grips complemented the tank 🤷♂
