Very cool unit!! I think the only thing it’s missing is a hose attachment for a hand held washing wand so you can just use the unit to wash the parts it can’t reach as it doing it’s main wash.
Like everything, there's always room for improvement and I'd be surprised if they aren't doing more R&D constantly. But as for now I think they really have a great thing going. As long as it justifies the cost, I'd say go for it especially if you crunch the numbers right.
Gamechancer for sure ,friend of mine in danmark use the the thing for like 2 years now, Labour is hard to find also, thanks and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Very cool machine! I can see ways to make it even better using sensors and motorizing the arms to get completely around everything like the feeders & dropping the water pressure for the ceiling.
Hey guys........😎😎 those cable things on each side of the tailgate are unhookable.....😁😁, no need to bust a nut when not needed....... Great channel and content. All around mix of good ole family farm as it should be. Many thumbs up.
You guys continually make me laugh, while you guys were struggling trying to get that power washer in the back of the truck I kept yelling at my screen "work smarter, not harder". That power washer unit is very cool, it's definitely an excellent device from what I see but I can already see a future version of it where the boom can extend and retract based on where it is in the building so that it can get all around the feeder. I can see a future unit designed that actually will map the room and all of the obstacles using something like LiDAR and doing an even more thorough washing of the room. Another nice little update for the future would have the machine be able to regulate the pressure being sent out to the nozzle so that it could automatically turn the nozzles up and get the roof with less pressure being used. I'm sure these are things they're thinking about, but I just felt the need to put it down in print if they haven't. Another awesome video even with the slight audio issues, keep up the great work guys. Can't wait to see what shenanigans you guys get up to next.
Looks like a fun bit of tech but with the cost and so many barn layouts there’s no way it’d ever be viable for everyone. I always wondered pondered on a built in version of a pole and arm that ran on a track on the ceiling with multiple of them per room as needed to get full coverage. (Bad description but think I got the idea across) But how much water do you estimate the robot used vs manual cleaning? I’d guess the robot would have used quite a bit more.
That was a cool machine! Really did blast the shit!! LOL!! I wonder if it could be designed to blast water from the bottom or at a lower level, it might be able it reach those places by the feeders. If not completely, at least enough to knock it out for the other jets to reach. Great tool!!
Hey guys! Looks like a pretty neat machine. We also have a Wean to Finish operation not to far away from you guys in Illinois. I was just noticing that it isn't getting the mats very good? Will you have to go back and get those yourself? Just curious thanks!
Around here a huge box truck shows up to do the power washing. But I do know they have problems getting help and power wash. I know that years back corn got way up there in cost and they changed the recipe to wheat...better weight gains and other things. Down side...you had to use dynamite to blast off the hog manure. Growers went nuts trying to clean barns. You would have had to run misters for month.
First of all you guys need a sign in the barn that says "Let John Deere do the heavy lifting." C'mon! Second if that washer just had another pull out length to each side it would clean great on the other side of the feeders. You're welcome!
If u knew you was going with the wash machine. You could have design the barn to cater the washer more friendly.Right now your barn not set up for the sprayer to maximize the washer. Save water from human use too.
Well, your regular power wash people be upset because you’re getting a robot to do the work and then now they won’t have the work. I’m sure they enjoy making the money seem like it would make them upset with you. It does make sense to let the robot do the work don’t get me wrong but I just think they might get upset because they would be losing the work which means they would be losing money. Just my observation on this.
Well its what I do for a living and until they get something WAY better it's not going to worry me cause there barn I can see just by looking washes better than 90% of barns there's no tough build up and on top of that it's not nearly washing the feeders good enough there small cracks between the slats that in case of a decease need to go and that machine is simply not going to wash that and the ceiling is as good as not washed that's not even counting the gating and wall by the curtain. I'd give f- on the job but I'm sure someday they will figure it out but then I'll help them sell it😂
You lost me on this video. How does the machine get behind the feeder or inside ? Ya the video looks kewl with all the spraying, but it can't get every angle that a person would do. I'd rather get a human to wash. Not worth the cost.
With the struggle to find good help, automating the washing of the barns was do to come.
Great job!!!

That is a pretty neat power washer
We have 11 of them. Its from my home, Denmark.
Kjær knudsen?
@@danishgaming621 ja det er det.
Do you have videos of yours working?
Thank you for sharing this. Now would like to see when you have a crew in doing the power washing.
We’ll try to catch that for you in an upcoming video! Thanks for watching
Interesting. Thank you for trying something new
Looks like a nice machine you’ll be able to sit back and enjoy a few beers 🍻 lol great video 👍👍

Another very interesting video Thank you
Can anyone explain how is the drainage system work with slated floors
Very cool machine!

Looks like it could be a big game changer
Good piece guys. But where do your contract power washers now go?

Yep!!
That's pretty cool. Wish I had it ²0 years ago when I used to wash hog barns
I'm inpressed!
Your dad's hilarious!😂
Love you guys…working smarter not harder.
Absolutely another fabulous great video .. TQSM
Thanks for the continued support!
Good show
I enjoyed the content. Thanks

Work smarter not harder
If you Carolina squat big white. Then it will be easier for Tork to load!
what are the mats for
Yes it's cool, but how much does it cost?
you think its adding more or less water to your pit. vs the crew of washers coming up
You know, you gotta hand it to short people. They're going to ask for it anyways! Loved the first scene...
I was expecting it to have more nozzles like a sprayer, and just do passes. It was neat to see how robotic it actually was.
Yeah, I expected car wash
thanks for another video, that will be a huge improvement not to have to wash by hand!!!!!
We didn’t purchase one. We just demoed one.
@thislldofarm do you know the cost of this unit
How long did it take to do the 1 room? Great video
I meant a Pink bow.😮
How wide is this unit?
liquid was water; soap; disinfectant? no suds?
That power washer is slicker than a 6 pecker Billy goat 😂
awesome, price would dictate its worthiness considering you still need hand washers to complete.
Around 30K but they’re working on a leasing option.

That is cool as shit
Do you have contact info for this guy?
Sure looks like it saves a lot of time over doing it manually.
Doesn't appear ROI is there for the number of times needed per year
1:08 minutes in lift with your legs not your arms or your back majority of your muscles are in your legs
Machine doesn't surprised me- dairy has been using automatic washers for years
Washer be good if it had life time support and warranty.
Save on work comp, labor and water.
Definitely not water
Did he say what the price tag on that was?
It’s around $30,000
@@thislldofarm ouch. I don’t think the buy once cry once saying helps with that.
Hopefully all your electrical motors, buttons, heaters, etc are IP66 rated. Longterm I see you replacing electrical parts and pieces more frequently
All of it’s waterproof but yeah I think you’ll have some maintenance long term

You guys should dress that machine up in a maids uniform. Maybe give her a punk bow and a feather duster. Name her Suzi.😊
Come on guys work smart not hard 😂
