- Coucou ! Woke up in a minor blues mood this morning...aha ! Here's the Jet JS300 into Amplitube 3, from clean(ish) to overdrive basically, I do think it doesn't sound nearly as good as the HX Stomp for example (it's like 12yo now though...so kinda expected ?) but there's something about "feel" that I really dig in Amplitube for clean/low gain stuff. your playing and tones are impeccable, I bought a JET Guitar thinkling I would have to make mods , the only change I made was a fresh pair of strings ! The guitar plays incredible sounds incredible. It comes with so much high end hardware its hard to imagine all that for such a low price. Not sure ho they do it but they do it well .
This was the video that sold me on the js300. Still lovin it two years later (same model, same colours... although will probably sand it down to bare wood at some point). I play it through a little Blackstar Fly, and it sounds top, even without pedals or reverb. Nice playing, you!

I, also, came looking for a review, expecting a sales pitch for a guitar you can't really hear because of a pedal board full of effects, but that didn't happen. The guitar sounded great, and the music was fantastic.

@@bradyazell Mine has flat spots you can land a plane on and quite possibly the worst trem/nut situation I have ever seen on a guitar in my entire life, on top of fret sprout. It's one of the nicest looking and feeling pieces of clearcoated wood I own. It's also the worst guitar I have ever touched in my life, and I have owned $30 flea market guitars. Can't return it either. The only silver lining is that it finally made me bite the bullet on one of those Crimson Guitars luthier kits.

Started my guitar journey 1969, been in numerous bands without any commercial success....
I have a few Strats and just got JS400. So far massively impressed. Plays as well, if not better than my US Strat and much better than my Mex. Fenders sound better, but with a loom and p/u upgrade the Jet will probably surpass them.

Having adjusted p/u's I've revised my opinion on the sound. I don't think I'm going to change anything, I like how it sounds and the range of tones available. Polish the frets when I change the strings, that's all. Very nice banjo, insanely good for the money,

Great Feel !!!! what gauge are u using ? I am now using 0.50-0.11 and the sound improved so much (coming from 0.47-0.10): next step will be 0.52-0.10
Do you typically have everything wide open on the guitar or is your base tone including some tone rolled off and a little bit off of the volume? Especially for the clean tone.

Probably because JS300 is a Strat and JS400 is a superStrat HSS

My ibanez has rosewood and it feels pretty rough and hard
Lemon oil the ibanez neck.
It may need a couple of coats, you can see if it looks patchy, thats too dry.

Hey Jean Michel ! Amplitube est un logiciel de simulation d'amplis et d'effets :) Là c'est la V3 qui a du sortir il y'a une douzaine d'années, ils ont bien avancé depuis...je crois que la V5 est sortie l'hiver dernier !
