I’m so devastated it’s over Season 3 was great a bit slow at the start but episode 9 had some of the best acting I’ve seen I had to fight tears in the last few episodes The last scene between Alfred and Uhtred was amazing
I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried when Uhtred told Brida why he had sworn to Alfred the second time, and again during Alfred and Uhtred's last talk. This was an amazing cast. Hild is still my favorite though.
I read the books years ago. A couple times. I am so damn happy to see this series go to film. And they could not have found anyone better in the whole damned world to play Uhtred. ❤

GoT was a great concept with a great start and middle but there is no ending to satisfy. Whatever shit they come up with for season 8 will only satisfy idiots. Without an ending they should never have bothered starting filming. At least Last Kingdom has a wealth of source material and each chapter has a satisfying start middle and end.

After enjoying the last episode of Season 3, I've started re-watching the whole series from the very beginning! Having "met" the outstanding cast thru their various interviews, I appreciate the show even more not only for witty dialogue and believable characters but also the meticulous attention to details on every scene. I like this show more than the GOT despite the latter's obvious bigger stars and bigger budget. I'm ordering the source material. I'm hooked!
