John and PJ hit it on the head with their opinion on actually suffering and the misconception that new "coaches" sell. I hear it and see it all the time all over social media. "You don't have to do 2hrs of cardio a day on my plan. You don't have to eat 12-1600 calories a day on my plan. You don't have to eat tilapia and asparagus 4-6x a day on my plan". People will gravitate more towards anything that sounds like a short cut. In the end if you want the physique of your dreams, whatever that may be you have to go through hell.

Flex Lewis is a 7 time 212 Mr. Olympia and people want to give him shit for being invited to compete in the open class?! He's going to help improve the level of competition on that stage. You gotta have great talents competing against eachother or the field will be weak. You need the best of the best up there. 90's style. Even 80's style for that matter. Bob Paris was placing like 8th place in the 80's a d hes one of the all time greatest aesthetic physiques in history.

Very true about having to make weight and having to suck down & suffer. I worked with Dave in 2010 getting ready for The Eastern USAs and weighed in at 174.5 pounds at 5’ 5” & had shredded glutes, and placed 2 nd, then Dave wanted me to suck down, suffer, to make welterweights, 165.25, at The Nationals the next week, which was 5 days until Thursday night weigh ins, i ate only fish for the next 5 days, got stuck at 169 Thursday morning, and then had to go in & out of the sauna for 1 hour in order to make weight,i was hearing my heart beat through my temples, i check the scale next to the sauna it said 165,i ran to my room, changed into my trunks and ran to weigh in to make weight......and it wasn’t only just 1 week of suffering, i was on Dave’s Program for 16 weeks, was working a full 40 hr week in construction, and commuting 4 hours a day from Long Island to NYC.... you have to be consistent, dedicated and definitely willing to suffer & separate yourself from the distractions of everyday life

When I saw how many guests were on the show from the thumbnail before I even clicked on the video, I predicted that it was going to be a total clusterfck with everyone talking over each other. But no, it was a perfect show. Sid did a great job of asking great questions, keeping everyone on track and keeping things in order. This could have gotten extremely hectic. But everyone took turns speaking and stayed on topic. Two thumbs up. Good job at keeping things on track, Sid.

As an older bb ‘hobbiest’ I really enjoy the Channel(s) Dave and the diverse perspectives offered up; if I’m ever looking for motivation to get to the gym, watching just about any segment inspires me to get going, seeing the many people who also share this interest. That being said, I feel that part of the issue of today’s competitiveness and lack of more traditional forms and physiques may be due in part to social media and how candidly the discussions and rampant Steroid/ PED use is. Way back in the day, it was a dark secret , then in the 90’s some competitors made little secret of steroid use on limited public media. Now it’s almost full grown bragging rights as to who takes what, who takes more and as a result who is bigger and not necessarily who has a more developed classical body. The Competitions Standards have had to adjust. I recall Arnold stating in one of his earlier books that he would never go into a competition with 21 inch arms, because he wouldn’t be excepted because his arms were too big. Well somebody with “small” 21 inch arms would not even be in any top tier competition such as the Mr. Olympia, so as the bragging rights to how many steroids and HGH and insulin they use, our standards of judging have had to change.

In comparison to getting flat and stringy during dieting..I cant afford all the drugs nor do i want to depend on them. So its a relief to here him say that its normal too get flat and stringy in order to get shredded.. Dave Palumbo please full disclosure with fahkari mumbark. The fans want to see his update. Your the best interviewer. And have the knowledge to help spread the word to save others. Fahkari promised to help spread the word and he had been silent? What happen? He wanted to help?

I am not going to waste my hard earned money for a half ass product. How does the current Mr. O win with NO quad separation. Outside of a few current open guys like Luke, Patrick, Steve Kuclo and Sergio, there is nobody I want to pay to see. Hope it gets better. Phenomenal show guys. Loved all the guests

I know the bodybuilding fans want to know about fahkari mumbark. He is a well known guru. Did he have a lot to do to his situation or were the steroids safe? Is too much safe? Or not? So many ? And your the best to diagnose this situation with fahkari.

Great show, 110% Credible voices as a panel! 'The oils' later discussed weren't a product I expecting to hear spoken of, but yeh sure if ya wanna loose difficult fat ya first got loose the oil right, whatta game? GH & insulin I'd have attributed to the modern 'marshmallow' look (ref ghost busters) lol

I think Dave nailed it around the 19:50 mark. Relying on the drugs too much. You never know how your body is going to react to drugs sometimes even the ones you’ve taken a long time. Different manufacturers (or somebody’s kitchen if your talking underground stuff) and mixing them up your body has to react and if the organs are slowly getting more and more stressed handling this over time your body will process it differently.
