If the Ark was emitting that much powerful radiation that it would kill an adult within 5 years, then you could easily detect it from a distance with a simple geiger counter which anyone could purchase for less than $90. You would not even need to even go inside the building the Ark was placed. Furthermore, the remains of the dead monks/guardians would also be radioactive and detectable, not to mention being a hazmat as dangerous as nuclear waste. The last time I checked, there were no rash of Ethiopians dropping dead like flies from radiation poisoning.

When I was stationed at Kagnew Station in Asmara Eritrea (4th USASA Field Station) in the 1960’s I visited Aksum (Axum) in Ethiopia proper. At St Mary of Zion I visited the The Treasury now known as the Chapel where it is reported the Arc of the Covenant is guarded by monks. The Priests and Monks are dedicated to guarding the Arc. I did not see the Ark, but felt the genuine fervor that all who serve the church believe that dedicating their lives to guard the Ark will find favor with God. Attending services was eye opening as the rituals are of Third Century Christianity. The services are held using a language called Geez only used by the church. The sound, smells of incense, standing for a couple of hours with a leaning stick, segregated by sex and the intensity of the priests and the church members wearing their best clothes gave me a feeling of being close to something unexplainable. With the on going war in Ethiopia, Aksum has be shelled and bombed, little information on how the historic sights have survived.

He knows some history but he knows more about how to sell a story. Back in the early 1900s there was alot of similar stuff coming out, pseudo scientific fluff that sold well, and gave people a dream to hold onto. Is what it is. Graham is just breathing new life into the genre, not much in the way of fact, but gives your mind a tingle of endorphines.
I have often wondered what went in all those granite boxes in the pyramids.. I think the Ark of the Covenant might just be one of what was in those boxes because of course most of them appear to not have a lid and no one makes a box like that without a purpose or having something to put in it!! That is why the Holy of Holies room in Solomon’s temple in Jerusalem (which held the Ark of the Covenant) was entirely coated in gold. Gold ceiling, gold walls, gold floor. And when the high priest went into the Holy of Holies room once per year, he had a rope tied around him, so that if he died while he was in the room, the other priests could pull him out without setting foot in the room. You can read these descriptions in the Old Testament.

I heard another testimony of someone who once saw it. The Ethiopian ark does not appear to be genuine. The Israeli new temple people say they already have the original anyway.
I'm pretty sure they permitted a archeologist in the 1930 to check this artifact out and he determined it to be a recreation from around the 1500s as they were quite common then and that these priests aren't trying to fool anyone they really just believe it to be the real deal

It is very interesting short documentary and it certainly would be nice to know that the ark still exists safely somewhere. And maybe they removed it from the temple because they thought the ark could be polluted by what was around it. But I actually believe that with the immense power of the ark, it would destroy anything near it that was not aligned with God. So it would’ve been the other way around. The Pagan idols likely needed protection from the ark. The ark did not need protection.

I was on Elephantine Island in front of the still standing gate. Scratched into the stone at my feet was a crude drawing. It was a rectangle with triangles on the ends. It was encircled by triangles indicating which way to perambulate the rectangle. Directly below the platform is a chamber where it’s said the Ark was kept for a couple hundred years before moving on to Ethiopia
Nassim Haramein has a different theory but it ends up is Ethiopia as well. I did a bit of research, because history says the last time it was revealed - and used as a weapon - when Italy attacked Ethiopia in 1896 with the best army of the world of that era against tribesmen with spears and arrows. The true answer is that it depends on who we are talking about. For one it is lost and for another it is not. There is always at least ONE “someone” that knows all, and that is Logic (Logos aka Reason), The Source of Knowledge and The One True God. Anyone that knows x=x can tell you that nothing is nothing and nonexistence doesn’t exist, so it is certain that “the ark” is “the ark” in substance, and that the real question is what form “the ark is the ark” in.

I read this book in my late teens so I decided to start research in Belfast central library and thanks to the librarians I found out that everywhere in Ethiopia where scriptures are stored is called an Ark. I believe that Ron's finding is the correct one. In a nutshell, here's why I believe it. Ron says he found the ark in January of 1982. Two prominent rabbis claim to have personally seen the ark in 1982. If you are a prominent rabbi, and you hear the ark has been discovered, what is the first thing you will want to do? You will want to see it. So that begs the question... why didn't they see the ark in 1981 or earlier? Because it wasn't discovered yet. As the ark is only attested to in a highly questionable text about events preceding the Roman republic by centuries that is proven to often real people and places for fictional narratives it is complete folly to stake any long term interest in it. I read the Sign and the Seal twice. Becuz I was fascinated by the implication of what Hancock was suggesting. To me, he provides the most plausible explanation of what happened to the Ark and where it resides to this day. To further add, in accordance with biblical scripture, it is written that the purpose of the temple was to be a house of rest for the Ark. Hancock goes on to posit, the only justification for a temple on Elephantine island was to house the Ark, removed from the Solomonic temple. All this being said, what is the justification for another temple without the Ark of God? What scripture can anyone a test too that endorses this? I find it odd.

When I was stationed at Kagnew Station in Asmara Eritrea (4th USASA Field Station) in the 1960’s I visited Aksum (Axum) in Ethiopia proper. I believe the Ark went to heaven when Jesus ascended there, Revelation 11:19 points to it being in heaven, but as to WHEN it went there, not exactly sure. Maybe fulfilling when Jesus said in Mathew 5:17 "I came not to destroy the law but to fulfill it". Just my guess.

It is very interesting short documentary and it certainly would be nice to know that the ark still exists safely somewhere. And maybe they removed it from the temple because they thought the ark could be polluted by what was around it. I read this book in my late teens so I decided to start research in Belfast central library and thanks to the librarians I found out that everywhere in Ethiopia where scriptures are stored is called an Ark. When I read the Bible from cover to cover, reading about the Ark was fascinating. Definitely described as a weapon..I always thought a sound or frequency weapon

It was written by men and stands the test of time, therefore it’s a solid history reference, just as any history reference, bias included.

As in he spoke a sound which created everything into existence. Cymatics backs this up as you can see every single thing on earth or otherwise has a frequency or vibration. Wow... I started contemplating it's existence and where abouts in my teens. I'm 70 now. It was easy to trace it's journey. It makes plenty of sense for them to go blind. Not because they are guarding it, but because their lack of faith peaks their curiosity which makes them try to sneak a glimpse and see if it really is the true ark they are guarding. It would be incredibly unfortunate if Zahi Hawas secretly dug down to that chamber and acquired its contents, holding all its secrets, all the knowledge and history of Atlantis in his possession and stashed it all away somewhere for as long as he wants. That probably would give him a feeling of power and superiority because he would be holding captive one of the greatest treasures of such importance to the world. He could demand any price if he could prove he really had it in his possession. Wonder if this cat ever heard of a man named Ron Wyatt who claims to have found the Ark of the Covenant? Everyone has an answer but which one is true?
I believe that Ron's finding is the correct one. In a nutshell, here's why I believe it. Ron says he found the ark in January of 1982. Two prominent rabbis claim to have personally seen the ark in 1982. If you are a prominent rabbi, and you hear the ark has been discovered, what is the first thing you will want to do? You will want to see it. So that begs the question... why didn't they see the ark in 1981 or earlier? Because it wasn't discovered yet.
Also, the temple institute stated on their website that they know where the ark is... it's located underground in Jerusalem.
So why don't the Jews give credit to Ron for finding the ark? Because he tied the ark to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It was beneath Him when He was crucified. At His crucifixion, the rocks were rent, and His blood (and water) flowed down the cracks of the earth, and were literally applied to the Ark of the Covenant below.

His experience of seeing the Ark beneath the sight of the cross where the Christ blood would flow onto it makes sense.
Plus his experience with a sample of that blood at a lab.
he said its still in Jerusalem, that would fit with having to take the Ark out of the temple so that it wouldnt be defiled . To me its much more believable that they kept it close by because transporting it long distances couldve been an issue

I understand that the ark is hidden under the temple mount. The story of the guards getting cataracts from the ark in Ethiopia,I dont believe. The queen of England got to see the Ethiopia ark like a few others and had no cataracts. There was more than one duplicate ark made. The real ark will be in the 3rd temple at the right time.

As the ark is only attested to in a highly questionable text about events preceding the Roman republic by centuries that is proven to often real people and places for fictional narratives it is complete folly to stake any long term interest in it.
What the description shows is very clearly a chest of ancient Egyptian origin such as those found in burial treasure like Tutankhamun's.
So much of the Torah is just retcons and renames of myth, legend and history from ancient Egyptian, Mesopotamian and Canaanite sources.
Even the Hebrew language itself is proven to be of Canaanite lineage - Israel was literally just a city state within Canaan that branched its religion and culture from the Canaanite baseline at some point in the mid to late 2nd millennium BCE, possibly even catalysed by the short lived monotheistic Atenism of Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten who was de facto ruler over the territory of Canaan at that point in time.
The entire mystery surrounding the Ark of the Covenant is the result of the fact that it was nothing more than a large capacitor/sand battery that was charged from it being carried across the static charged desert. I read the Sign and the Seal twice. Becuz I was fascinated by the implication of what Hancock was suggesting. To me, he provides the most plausible explanation of what happened to the Ark and where it resides to this day. To further add, in accordance with biblical scripture, it is written that the purpose of the temple was to be a house of rest for the Ark. Hancock goes on to posit, the only justification for a temple on Elephantine island was to house the Ark, removed from the Solomonic temple. All this being said, what is the justification for another temple without the Ark of God?
What scripture can anyone a test too that endorses this? I find it odd.
