- For 34 years, the dinner historical dinner theater experience Medieval Times has followed the same formula- with a King leading the ceremonies. But now, for the first time ever, the show is rolling out a new storyline- one with a Queen at the center. Broadly heads to Lyndhurst, New Jersey, to meet the first Queen of Medieval Times.

there are also three ren fairs in Texas, and one is not far from Dallas. It's in one of the suburbs, I can't remember where. It's named Scarborough Faire, you should look it up, they're SO MUCH FUN! There's also Texas Ren Fest in Houston, and Sherwood Forest Faire between Austin and Houston. That one is the newest and smallest, but me and my family like that one the best, since it feels more intimate because of its size and the fact that we've been going since the first year it was opened, so it's like home, now! 🙂

I went to Medieval Times for the first time as a 21 year old adult a couple years ago. The food was so good but after the meal I got bored and they wouldn't let anyone leave until after the show...
Qwerty Bastard they closed all of the doors and instructed everyone not to leave until the end of the show...if you told them you needed to leave I’m sure they couldn’t keep you but idk

Yeah, so to call the Show Queen Isabella - after Isabella of Castille - is very fitting. Queen Isabella was a Queen Regnant - in her own right - who ruled over Castille (Spain) in the Late Middle Ages, while her husband, Ferdinand of Leon, ruled over Leon (Spain). Their union was the "birth" of Spain as a country, which they ruled as equals, partly because - as already stated - the two kingdoms remained separate until the coronation of their grandson Charles, who later became Emperor Charles V of the Holy Roman Empire (proto-Germany).

Is it? We stayed in the Renaissance around the corner and it seemed like a decent area, then again, we were taking tour buses back / forth to Times Square, etc, etc. Seems most MT's are in decent areas. Atlanta location is in a very busy mall.

Yeah, they're supposed to work on those... my dtr is a princess and hers is pretty good but she's a theater major and has worked on it. Some are so inconsistent they'd be better to not even try.
Yall forget there were tons of women that did great things, not just from a throne.. like. All this is, is just taking more roles men would have and make sure none have a role anymore. Yeah sure. Heck. So many Slavic women of old did great things and often had their own societies both with and without men. Yeesh, women were sacred even to the Apache people. Well I remember going there for a field trip I like the food you try to eat like those with your hands and the foods had their names hahaha 😂 it was funny names it was different from mine because there was no queen no king nothing they were only fighting in horses it was fun and outsude you could buy stuff pretty cool there was different sides I was on the yellow side and one and the men's on horses where throwing roses
It was a fun Field Trip 🙂

if its your ability to hear, I am an acoustics nerd. The acoustics are fantastic, I was wearing noise cancelling headphones and I could still hear everything. I think they have speakers all around the theatre. You really should go

Went once with high school class. Had my own vial of liquid acid and took 4 drops ( one in the eye) as it began to sting I felt myself the fool. Anyway it was awesome watching them pour liquid fire. When the MC said no no no to the general applause as being too lame and needing much more medieval enthusiasm- me and my friend who was tripping as well, looked at each other in complete disbelief as we were being given permission to go completely bananas ape shit! We started banging our pewter plates sending the Cornish hens flying and screaming like maniacs! With a large circle of people staring slack jawed at us, the MC came back on and calmed us down by suggesting the horses were on the verge of panic. We were far from the front row. Anyway just a little tale of the happiest moment in my life made possible by Medieval Times Orlando and a wee little vial. (it's been down hill ever since) ;)
