You know something. Iv been watching these young men for a while . And I have to say I love the way they communicate to eachother. I also love their subject choices!!!!
This one is Sukaki… they say you are like the snake amongst your siblings, this is very far from the truth, you are the real one amongst your siblings, and them all now being together must make you feel away, but know they, they are there stabbing one another in the back the moment each one turns. Blood family is not the only family we have, but the ones we chose to be in our lives, the ones who care for us and stand by our side, those are the ones we should be calling family! You guys have such an honest connection with one another.. you are brothers 🙏🏽
Siblings that you have not grown with from childhood there is definitely a disconnect. Some can never change the hate and the fight for parental love is crazy, entitlement. At the end just love the ones that love you. You cannot force anyone to love or care for you ,atleast you know you tried and God knows best.😊
This is a really important conversation. Sibling relationships can get complicated as you grow older and adulting gets real. Personalities also matter. This is one thing parents really need to be intentional about. I'm very grateful to my mom for that. "Nigerians don't respect money." 😂😂😂 The closing prayer was a pleasant surprise. Hope this show touches many. Very timely for Christmas. Wish you love and reconciliation with your siblings.
My step-dad had fallen out with several members of our family. He attended my Nan’s funeral and spoke to no one. On that day he should have been the bigger and better person. Imagine my Nan seeing that even on that day he’s not talking to the rest of her family. In my heart I would have rather he stayed away but each to their own.
I highhhhlyyyyy resonate with what Dare is saying. I felt like I was neverrrrrr given the grace by both parents and siblings. They forgive each other over mistakes but me…different story 😂 And my parents will tell you with their full chest who the ‘better’ and most favourite child is. Each parent have a different favourite too 😊
This subject is exactly what happens in my family. We are 4 siblings, I am the first born (woman) and I have 3 younger brothers. Since I can remember, my mother has called each and every one of us to talk badly about the other... As teenagers and when we were in our twenties, we used to turn on each other. Now is our 40s and 30s, 3 of us understand the assignment, and we don't let our mother divide us, except the third born brother. His character is very similar to our mother's. Haven't spoken to him in yours. I feel like, at a certain age, you have to understand the dynamics. This is horrible for a parent to do. It destroys families. Because we were mother's soldiers, we don't know how to relate to each other. It's very sad. I gave up trying to unite us. We live our own lives now.
Appreciate you sharing and I am sorry you went through this but I hope one day you and your siblings can reconcile as nobody wins when the family feuds 🙏🏾
From what Sukali is saying in regards to his sibling who stopped talking to him because he declined a family gathering without his other siblings, sounds to me like the one who stopping talking to him has control issues. First time commenting although I watch you guys every week. Sukali sounds to me like a peace maker. He values his family perhaps a lot more than they value him. That’s not to say that they don’t love him. But unfortunately in a lot of dysfunctional family dynamics everyone has a roll to play some more than others. If you happen to be a peace maker, expect disappointment. Especially if you operate on boundaries free zone for family. Trust me I know exactly what Sukali is talking about. You’re the bad guy for trying to do the right thing. But keep doing you but for the ones who reciprocate. The rest can Kulya ettaka.💯🙏🏾
Now me coming from a Baganda Muslim family of 38 children and undocumented number of cousins😂😂, fighting is part of us, everyday you hear a new story of what you did and u be like wat did I do next.😂 but it’s traumatizing to the extent that death is the only thing that brings u together.
I personally think a lot of African parents derailed the Relationship between their children for fanical It's up to the children to smell the coffee & wake up...The chicken has got roles to play & calling out parents when they try to talk badly about the other siblings just like you won't let someone run your friends down..!
Absolutely agree with this I have woken up and smelled the coffee.. I am grateful for my siblings and praying for the ones we’ve grown apart to reunite.. DT you made a lot of excellent points and showed your hart full of grace … God bless you lads especially for those of us who can’t afford therapy this is excellent 🥰🇨🇩

If my siblings stopped talking to me for seven years, they can NEVER talk to me. I’m with Uzoma (sp?).
Why do you feel that way?
43:30 out of respect because of what’s gone before some people shouldn’t attending funerals. I think they can send a message but attend!

@MosunmolaH word! It's very sad. Such parents must come from a lot of dysfunction, to normalise that type of behaviour.
