WHY BLACK PARENTS NEVER APOLOGIZE TO THEIR CHILDREN! | EP131 PART 2 | IN MY OPINION PODCAST
WHY BLACK PARENTS NEVER APOLOGIZE TO THEIR CHILDREN!
In Part 2 of this episode, we discuss the importance of forgiving our Parents for their mistakes even if they never apologized to us as children or adults.
Most Black parents struggle with accountability but end up showing their remorse in other ways, so in this episode we delve deeper into this to understand why and how we can overcome it.

When I was back home, I used to watch Judge Judy, and children would sue their parents. I did not understand how children could sue their parents for not paying them back etc etc. Now, I am living in the west and seeing how bad credit can ruin everything for you. There is no way I will let this go. There have to be consequences to these heinous acts caused by our parents.

Black people will allow most violations if its being done by a family member. Advising people to eat the default is horrible advice. Bad credit can exclude you from so many services & careers. Is this how you want your audience to start their adult life? Why wouldn't want to protect your name at all?

Sounds like 'ezege' is taken from the word 'executive.' West Africans often pronounce it as 'ezegative' lol. It would have been good to explain the Igbo quiz better or just turn it into a language lesson with Phyno. He's clearly a fluent Igbo speaker. Oh my goodness! I got the riddle right! More younger Africans are considering care homes for their parents. Times are changing. On this occasion, I understand the wife. The real question here is whether the family will play an active part in meeting the father's physical needs etc. She already has four children to look after.

Another sign how we “Western based Africans” are so wishy washy on what we actually stand for especially when speaking to people from back home. I think if this guest was not there, you’d have had a different opinion. How did this go from a sister who is not taking her dad in but curses a sister in law saying the same - to a story about woman here have all the power. Who will be cooking for the dad, bathing him, helping him go to the dr or bathroom etc? Why is the sister not taking the dad in? Why didn’t she shout at her brother instead? Your guest even said he’d send his dad to the village. Because he can’t commit to that work right? What is the equivalent here? Man we need to heal in these streets. It’s actually ok to treat your wife like a human being and listen when she says this is too much for me. This couple clearly discussed and agreed. Well done to her husband recognizing that 4 kids is already a lot on his & his wife’s plate. Do better guys

The government has really called things more difficult for its citizens and we can't sit back and bear all the consequences of the bad governance. We need to take our financial life serious.....I recommend stock market investment and digital currencies*

@@Surestart106 I'm not even African and we start our parties late. I live in a so called 1st world country. I worked in Lagos on and off for YEARS. Nigerians will leave their home at 5am just to get to work ON TIME because of the bridge. We stayed in hotels near the firms we worked at, so we didn't have to leave as early, but Africans are generally very hardworking and are on time for work. The parties I went to in Nigeria finish early in the morning, arriving late to a party is nothing. Some of you are mentally delayed. You'll never have commentary for the things that actually matter e.g. a country funding arms to commit genocide...or say thats the reason why it's behind (thats a very disrespectful thing to do btw), but Africans going to a party late....CRIMINAL BEHAVIOUR. 😂😂😂🤡🤡

I'm from South Africa. 2 years ago, my female cousin was having her 21st birthday party on the 31st of December. The invitation was for 2pm, my wife and I got there at 6pm. To our surprise (as expected), they were just beginning to decorate the place, set up the tables.... Fast forward, we left to fetch a couple of friends and came back at 8pm, (spoiler alert) she got there at 11pm, the party started 30 minutes later. I won't lie it was different experience even with our "African time" standards but we got lit and enjoyed ourselves at the end. 😂
