      @@pyurologie I have a 165hz monitor. I cap the game at 79fps with RTSS. Then vsync on and reflex on in nvcp. In tarkov settings vsync checked and reflex off (its applied in nvcp) so with this config you unlock fps cap in game +60 (main menu included). Then you see 79 constant fps with a good rig in all maps (13900kf 4090 in my case) so you switch on lossless scaling with Ctrl+Alt+s and you see 158 real fps with 79fps latency (around 12.6ms). The latency is calculated for your real fps. The software adds an extra layer on the screen and stream the content at double of your frame rate. One tip for decreasing lossless scaling latency is “allow tearing” in the config of the program, so it doesnt activate vsync in this “stream” which it does of your game. I disable the resolution scaling too because i dont need any more than 2160p. It performs awesome, you deal with some minor artifacts in dark areas but for me is completely worth. And this software is improving overtime. You only need a nice CPU/GPU which could run the game at /2 your hz monitor rate. If you have any question, ask me. You gave me a good info in the past with your benchmarks so i can resolve any question for you now.

      yes absolutely worth the money. 5700X3D is still the best CPU for the money and getting high performance. 7800X3D is better, still a good deal, but costs more. 9800X3D will be new top dawg. I think 5700X3D will remain best bang for the buck for a long time. 6800XT will let you run 1440 high in tarkov and with FMF2, it should be pretty killer.

      Yeah I figured it’d be a good option based on your videos!
      And the price range compared with Nvidia is unreal. I’m getting my gpu from amazon… do you think it’s safe? I’m asking this because I’m not that used to ship things from there.
      In the meanwhile, I got a ryzen 5 1600 6C with a GTX 1660 Super 6GB, is there any thing I can do to gain some more fps? Because I play for the most part at 40 fps and some times less than that.
      Update: And what about the RX 7600XT 16GB? It's actually cheaper than the 6800XT.

    • @pyurologie
      @pyurologie  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      i think 7600XT's extra VRAM is kind of pointless because the bus size is still small. It performs about the same as the RX7600. 6800XT is much more powerful than 7600XT.
      yes, amazon is safe. just buy from a reputable seller and you should be covered.

      its bc after complaints of the long que times on the PVE edition...they made PVE locally hosted to circumvent the que time/complaints...and just like that instead of having the server on a nikita/client....its being ran off a single cpu/thread. JUST like "practicing" boss fight/spawn locations with irl friends new to the game on PVP....practice mode...with spawn ranges close to high/horde setting NGL. From what ive seen on PVE. You cant really "approximate" some of the effectiveness of various/kits-guns etc bc of really only having 70-80fps max in my case with a 5900x in any other map than streets on PVE. Then they have to "calculate" bears/pmc ai fighting each-other or the scavs not sure if thats been removed yet...but that also caused a bit of commotion when doing pve/streets once they made the pve/locally hosted patch. Dont get me wrong PVE was nice to try to take some boss/trio fights a little more serious than a "practice" raid or experience a lot more tasks/content than a normal player would see in a pvp/season. It running "bad" isnt something my irl friends notice bc they have older/slower etc systems where the PVP iteration of the game is just a bad/ok experience for them. Best you can offer to PVE if you want higher fps is FSR/DLSS even then its just to help with input/latency for PVE.

    EDIT: I have read in Adrenaline that won't show on any app like Riva Tuner or other similar but only in the Adrenaline performance tracker it self, but for some reason mine won't show in the graph anything beyond 100fps

    Hello pyurologie. Thank you for next great video. I was looking if is possible to use AFMF2 for Nvidia cards and found on techpowerup that it can be used "across a broad spectrum of GPUs, including those from NVIDIA, and Intel". Do you have any experience with the AFMF and NVIDIA cards? Thank you!

      there are some specific games that FMF built in, which will work with any GPU. But, not all games have that option built in. The universal FMF2 feature only works on AMD GPUs at the moment

    I cant reply you in my comment so i do it here (about lsfg).
    I have a 165hz monitor.
    Thank you for your content one more time, keep doing it mate!

    This is great but from what i tested lsfg works wayy better on tarkov. super little stuttering and feels like actual 100+ fps. And if ur base fps is just about around 55-60 the input lag is not that bad even

    smdh now if amd could just make some dynamite PPW gpus for 1440p-4k range use....thatd be SWEET now that FMF2 is off the ground....only issue is you need newer/ever newer gen "tech" to actually maximize this sort of "potential" in an itx build. 6950xt power in something that hits 200w max. Like a 7800xt or something...but rdna 3.5 per ex...is what AMD seems to have planned this "next gen" launch. I guess keep an eye out for a 400-500$ 6950xt 1440p maxed "beast" that will sip power....and be nice for ITX when it has a cooler for a gpu that would be 2 SKU's above its range...too bad amd wont sell that "SKU". I wonder if a beefy cooler/AIB 200w card will even exist with a beefed up vrm/vram cooling implementation to really cut down on thermal/voltage/transient activity which would really make it a killer for gaming and itx builds. If they actually offered a beefed up "card" design 8700/8750xt that could do that with 16gb at 400-500$ range that would be pretty Decent if it could effectively best a 7900GRE and use less power. While being even more 'insane' on the tdp range when undervolted. It could be like comparing a 580x 8gb to a 5500xt 8gb if cost/gap wasnt a factor. Still i see a 6650xt xfx gpu for around 230-240$ and recommend it to friends that want a new/budget build starting point gpu...with a 5700x3d/7800x3d. As a new gpu with warranty etc attached. FSR2 Support on older gen/2020-2021 era gpus is a huge deal to gamers/ppl on a budget. This support is almost the gamechanger amd wants to shift the landscape to 500$ or less/used gpus for a gpu and running a X3D chip in all/gaming rigs into 2028 XD.
