Fiyero's ability to 'dance through life' because of his privilege as a prince, and Nessarose being trapped in her own perception of herself, were especially insightful. 25:19 just btw, Elphaba the narrative have always been an allegory for racism, but not specifically anti-black racism. It was always the intention to have her be played by Jewish women, and have the character and play speak on antisemitism. A lot of the stereotypes around evil witches have been historically antisemitic. So the conversation has been broadened, but it was there from the beginning.
