This is literally an entirely different story, i am so shocked!! like sorryy??? thank you for taking one for the team and reading it so we don't have to!!
I love both the musical and the book. They both stand on their own. The book is definitely worth the read. It has been a while since I read it, so I did really enjoy your run through of it!
So I drove col Which is about 3 1/2 hours south, and let me tell you this changed my whole life. I went and saw wicked last Wednesday, it has truly changed my life as a 22 year-old boy, and I have legit nonstop listen to the album and have quickly learned the lyrics. I watched a few short summaries on TH-cam about the story, but never really got much out of them, but this, this truly changed my life. This is the craziest shit I have ever heard in my life, but I low-key love it. Thank you for also just being very, very witty and having hilarious comedic timing with some of the things you said such as “I’m shy.” I literally busted out laughing and had to rewatch you say it! 10/10 video.
I'm v new to the whole wicked universe and literally knew nothing about the wicked lore so this video was just what I needed!! Thank you for doing the slog so I don't have to and talking about some of the harder issues that havent really been mentioned so far!!! Love your video xx
i loved this so much i’ve been looking for a video like this for so long! tysm for making it & i’d really love to see this become a series with the other books as well :)
As someone who read half of it in 9th grade with most of it going over my head, i am very excited to watch this video and see how the novel actually ends
I'd love to watch your recaps of the rest of the series, if you can bring yourself to read them lol and I am sorry to tell you, that there are three newer books as well, for a total of 7. I cannot think of anyway to describe them that doesn't include spoilers, even just mentioning the main character gives away parts of books 2-4. that being said, this was such a great video and I'd be happy to watch any book recaps you make in the future! thank you!
I could be wrong cause it's been a while since I read the book but... Wasn't Madame Morrible dead by the time Elphaba arrived to try and end her? lol. I really enjoyed this vid btw. Awesome job! Makes me wanna read it all over again. I own all 14 Oz books by Baum and the fisrt 2 Maguire books but I've only read the first book of each series. So PLEASE do the other books Wicked books in the series so I don't have to LMAO.
There are 3 more books. The second is about liir. The second is the lion. The third ties the story of ozma of oz. If you have it in you I would recommend reading them.. but I got way too many disclaimers and warnings. Read at your own risk. Great video btw
When we read this in one of my college classes a classmate described the book perfectly as the author cracking open a thesaurus every paragraph. And his sex scenes are definitely something 😵💫
It has been a while, but I read the full series after first seeing the show (Idina's UK west end run). The first half of the book is a very difficult read, so much lore and backstory and just difficult to understand; but I found the last chapters hysterical. I do not remember the rest of the series being quite as disturbing.
I wasn't ready for such an abrupt ending 😅 thank you for putting the work in. I'm not sure if I'm intrigued or horrified.😂
I’ve been so looking forward to this video! Thank you for taking one for the team! 🫧🧹🩷💚
Ahhh hope you like it!! 💕
Just finished! I loved it. So informative and I loved how you changed the scenery/outfits etc - brilliant! Thank you 🩷💚

I'd heard it was different but can't believe HOW different!!

When I read the book after seeing tye musical irl I was also surprised there were no dives into the series on yt yet
I recommend Amanda todhunters video on the whole series, and average ambitions video on comparing the first book to the musical

I’d love to see another video on the other books!
Fantastic video! I imagine I enjoyed this much more than I would reading the book so thank you for your service 😂
Maiden: unmarried young woman
Fishwife: fishmonger or wife or fishmonger
Saw the movie last night. This video is perfect on the book. New sub.
I would love to see your take on the other books!! This book was so hard to read/ listen toon audible
Not there being so many trigger warnings it looks like the Star Wars title sequence 😭
There’s almost one for every letter of the alphabet
Seeing the trigger warning was like oh my god. Did he forgot any horrible topic it seems he put them all in the books
It’s here! Just got back from seeing it in the cinema, perfect timing 😍
Omg what did you think of the movie?! Hope you enjoy the video 💕
Wow. I went to watch the movie yesterday and seemed to know more with this video but I’m so shocked

Yeah, and get this there are parents giving this book to children for Christmas because they haven’t realized that the book is actually mature🤣🤣🤣
Especially now they’ve released it with the movie cover too!!

Im living for all the "what?" clips 😂😂😂
What a wild ride,i need more of this. Definitely will pick up the book just for the "What in the everliving fuck is going on?" vibes this gave.
The sexual stuff is to make it “deep” because the sex isn’t about sex, it’s Symbolic of something
When we read this in one of my college classes a classmate described the book perfectly as the author cracking open a thesaurus every paragraph. And his sex scenes are definitely something 😵💫
it ended so fast omg😭 I need all these lingering questions answered
Omg here we gooooo!
Enjoy!! 🫧🫧🫧
dooooo it!! here ill even subscribe
Thanks for this love. Saved me from reading it😎
I don't like the way they patched together Act 2 for the musical, but reading the books maybe someone should take mr maguire to a therapist.

there are some serious one liners here that if I quoted I think TH-cam would block my account
