EEEEE 8 years of our Classical Musicians React series and this is the first time we're reacting to a Korean classical musician's performance! What did you guys think of Yuchan's performance and our commentary? If we were to post more classical music reactions in the future, anything we should change about the formats or edits? :) Thanks for watching~
Plz plz plz keep doing this!!! I’ve been watching this channel for years and dunno why but never expected to see your reaction to Yunchan’s performance😂 Plz react every performance that you can find on TH-cam!!!
thanks about commenting Yunchan..he is the only one who made me listening whole part like Ra3..it was painful listening whole parts but he made feel like to forget times.. ..and also he is the first pianist who made me same piano song repeatting again and again... I think he has some kinds of special ability and his ability is difficult to be followed by someone....that is very distinguish things from other pianists who are also winners in the many other concore
He plays each note with intention… he has the ability to make every note sound exactly as he hears it in his mind… and the way he imagines the music is so beautiful, so creative, so flawless in every respect. I would compare his performance to fractal geometry… there seems no limit to the depth of undiscovered perfect detail
This was a nice break from K-pop! It was really refreshing and just hearing them talk more about the classical aspect side from the normal reactions definitely brought in some new nuances. Very well done! 💯
You guys reacted to my guy Yunchan Lim Yunchan Lims interpretation and performances always leave me breathless Always makes me feel like I’m experiencing the whole span of life: grief, happiness, loneliness, hope, triumph I’m addicted to his performances and interpretations
I got to know the petrarca sonet thanks to Yunchan. Whenever I listen to it I get sentimental. He looks hip on leather jacket 😊 hope to see his performance in person
They are so right on the upright piano comments. I learned on an upright piano that was also a converted from an automatic playing piano, and it was so much harder to control the sound. He did so well on what he was given, but also makes sense that they had an upright because of the small space.
Glad you did this. I will check out his Chopin Etudes when I need some *time out* in a quiet corner from all the people this Christmas. I always appreciate the music more after I watch your videos.
I've thought for 2 years that it would be nice if you guys react to Yunchan's performance (especially his Rach 3 or TE on the Cliburn competition) and I'm so glad now that finally you react to him! It was great that I could hear sincere and detailed reactions from classical musicians! Hope you react more about YCL😊 Thank you!
I have been watching your channel for yrs and this is my first time(?) leaving a comment! Love Yunchan's music as well as your reactions. There are so many talented Korean Classical Musicians including Seong-jin Cho and In-mo Yang. Hope you all have another chance to react to their play.
💜💜💜 Agree with Enerel's feedback right at the end. That "unbearable" aspect of Yunchan Lim. All consuming dedication to one's craft. P.S. Yunchan Lim plays three pieces on Tiny Desk. Do catch his full performance. I loved his last piece, October, too.
Mr.(Ms., Mrs.)ReacttotheK, I would say it is a new kind of BROADCASTING : I like it. And I wonder how you did come to think of it. I will be waiting for this kind of TH-cam you will be making.
To bring it back to Korean music, check out the 2020 K-drama 'Do You Like Brahms?' set in a music conservatory. The actors play their own instruments. 4.8 out of 5 stars, won lots of awards.
It is impossible to get the tickets of YUN in KOREA... If ticket is open, it sold out in the minute...😂😂 Yun is the real most popular pianist noweven people who are not know the classic do like him...people still wonder how can he playing like much even in the competition..
Hi! Since you're exploring alternative K-pops, can you please react to Lee Heemoon? He is well known for blending korean folk song (Minyo) with jazz, blues & raggae. Besides his musicality, his performance itself (gender non-conforming outfits, unconventional dance moves, etc) are JUST INSANE!!! (Please check out URL below) He is 1st Korean to appear in the NPR Tiny desk concert and is truly a national treasure (quite literally, bc he is a successor of intangible cultural heritage) m.th-cam.com/video/Bdmm1O9iVXc/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUET2JzZw%3D%3D 4:44 Killed Damn Song 🔥 8:54 Eorang Blousy 🔥
Thanks for highlighting Lee Heemoon! Ssingssing's viral breakout performance on Tiny Desk below. That group with Lee disbanded and Lee has a new group OBSG. He’s Korean, and he’s extremely popular right now. And he’ll have a much longer career than any K-pop star you can name. I’m actually jealous. I’m 67 and I’ll be dead by the time this guy is really hitting his stride as a mature artist.

Love the two girls’ “expression” faces. The pleasure, the pain of music!
Wow, you made my day much better. thanks a lot.
Love thiss❤
You know what, I definitely don't mind having more of this kind of video 🥹

Im Yoon-chan's talent is amazing. Even though I am not familiar with classical music, I was shocked when I first saw his performance
Fully agree with “ ear candy” description for Christmas and New Year! Actually, everyday ❤

since we are in tiny desk land, why not do an episode on nmixx's tiny desk korea?
