"I couldn't find a new apartment" is code for I couldn't find another illegal apartment that I could live for free. She's done this before asking for that certificate when she gets that notice. As a former landlord...I fell for the "I'm a clean freak, I bleach everything and I'm allergic to cats. I evicted her for having cats on property and filthy home, and allowed the toilet to leak for months, so I couldn't find out that she had cats.
I have a sump pump setup at my house. There are items you should not put in the toilet. Like women products, wipes, or hair that will take it out of commission quickly!
