Love this talk Dr. I've been blending these topics most of my adult life and i firmly believe Jung and the mysticism of religions are talking about the same thing. I wish i could engage the Self on a 1 on 1 dialog but i'm not there yet. Instead, things like when a bad situation arises, I will see the Self intervene in the ensuing events (so many times now, I know for sure it's "HIM"). Or I put a question out to the Universe and later will receive a synchronictic event, thought or image that will give me some insight. Perfect example as you are talking about Christ....... I just recently discovered on you tube a video on a document called "Pilate's Letter to Caesar". I will email you a link. I've been researching this document ever sine i saw the video. Listening to the words has made bells go off in my head and heart. An Aha! moment.🙏

Thanks for sharing, and I’m glad the talk resonated with you! It’s amazing how you’ve been able to see the Self at work in your life, especially through those synchronistic moments-Jung would definitely see that as a sign of deep connection. Even if you're not yet in direct dialogue with the Self, you're clearly engaging with it in a meaningful way.
I also agree about the connection between Jung and religious mysticism-it’s all pointing to deeper truths in the psyche. I’d love to hear more about "Pilate's Letter to Caesar" and how it’s sparked those Aha! moments for you!
