From an exchange-point of view, this amounts to next to nothing in terms of bargaining power. In fact, the only thing this did was harden the Russian position in regards to their own terms lol. Yet, he will do anything to hold onto this because losing this, can't be spun any other way than as a failure, for both Ukraine and their handlers, especially the Biden administration. Syrsky has already described the operation as a failure and its likely his time is short now, just as his predecessor's was after the horrific catastrophe of that hyped up summer offensive in 2023 lol.
