    Great video. Did you put a base of crushed rock beneath it? And how did you finish it off? Is there a top coat? Love to see more videos on this process.

      We put down 6 mil plastic as a vapor/radon barrier, then 2 inches of rigid foam for insulation, then about 3 inches of gravel, then the 1/2 pex tubes, then this earthen floor, followed by a clay paint, then a few coats of oil then a couple coats of wax

      Goldie just finished putting the final coat of wax down, we will make a video of the final floor, our mistakes, and how to avoid them. Thanks for the like and comment 🤠

    WOW 15:1 mix 😳, I'd think it would need way more clay to bind aggregates together really well ?? I'm no where close to doing my floor and know test samples are important but I never imagined a 15 to 1mix would work ?? Huh🤔

    • @OwnerBuildersUnite
      @OwnerBuildersUnite  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The mix actually had too much clay in it. It probably shouldve been more of a 20:1

    Hi... are you still there? Do you think it can be done on old cement floor? Thanks and good job.

    Do you have any recommendations for well drilling companies? Is it worth price comparing?

    • @OwnerBuildersUnite
      @OwnerBuildersUnite  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think we can recommend anyone. I'd say if a company is willing to do it and can schedule you, then go for it. Well drilling companies seem to be in high demand so take anything you can get. Just my opinion tho. Good luck and happy drilling 😊

    No cement added? How will it hold?

    How much straw did it need?

    • @OwnerBuildersUnite
      @OwnerBuildersUnite  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it was less than one bail for the floor
