- Loki wrapped up it's first season by busting open the Marvel multiverse with the promise of Kang's forever. Am I the only one who thought Kang wasn’t gonna be in the show because Mephisto wasn’t in WandaVision
I suppose they’ve gotten better at guessing
Ever since multiverse of madness was introduced as the title, theories were floating around on who would be the villain in that. Mephisto was one theory, so was Kang. People thought Wandavision was going to be setting things up for Dr strange, so they guessed Mephisto, but turns out it was loki and the TVA story that was a setting up Dr Strange. If anything, Wandavision not having Mephisto should strengthen the theory of Loki having Kang. All the comic channels got this right. You probably underestimated MCUs risk taking capabilities when you were disappointed by a lack of Mephisto in Wandavision and hence didn't think they could do Kang
John Campea of all people pointed out that all signs point to Kang. He used the template from WandaVision and all signs pointing to Agatha (not Mephisto) to come to that conclusion. I usually disagree with his opinions, but he was spot on this go around.

Yeah, pretty much. All the signs were there and it was obvious they were setting up Kang and dropping the evidence on purpose... But that made it seem like it would not happen, and it would just be another Loki instead... Because the obvious answer that they're clearly setting up couldn't be the correct one. Then again, I guess it's still possible Mephisto was involved and we just didn't see him. I never expected him to show up in person in WandaVision. I just thought he'd be set up through Agatha working for him to steal the children, which could still technically be true.

I can’t wait to see Jonathan Majors play the Council of Kangs, he will bring so much acting range to it. Based on everything Marvel did with Loki I have no doubt they will include Kang as Rama Tut in some way.
So he originally lived about 1000 years after Reed Richards, that's roughly 30 generations. He would have over 1 billion ancestors in present day; everyone alive has about a 1 in 7 chance of being related to Kang
