Ross the Oliver Man used large washers to fix rotten rims. They were rusting out around the valve stem too. He has a few videos of it. Might help ya out
I had my injector pump on my IH454 totally rebuilt and what a difference from your tractor mine is a Bosch and it has a half moon key that goes into the gear as long as you don’t turn the engine its easy but for getting the key in the paint looks great tractor sounds great they build things like they used to
Hey man 450 is looking good. I got another super a that im considering restoring. It runs great. After seeing this video I might choose to just do a good refresh of paint and some proper sheet metal repair. Got my eye on a 62' 140. love that bar type square front grill. What paint did you use on the 450?
I always rather a full restore but sometimes just a fresh coat of paint can definitely make a huge difference! I used the Rustoleum IH red on this one just to see how it looked. It sprayed pretty nice surprisingly with just a little mineral spirits to thin it.
@@bourbonbeertractorsandprep9335 Nice.... I sprayed my Super A - ( Full restoration) with the same.Thinned with acetone and used a catalyst. It turned out very nice. Im being extra careful to keep it out of the sun as much as possible. Im gonna use automotive paint on the next one for the ultimate durable finish.

You can get the fuel filter o ring from NAPA also. They unfortunately come separate now, it ain’t rite just the way it is
