After a couple of years, Tamil cinema will have too many directors and screenplay writers who will be highly regarded for their expertise. The reason will be Baradwaj Rangan. This guy is teaching us how to watch movies. Even a commercial movie might win awards for camera, makeup, costume and lighting.

It depends upon the director. Thevar magan is one of his finest performances. U can see a hell lot of difference between parasakthi, thangapathakam, Thevar magan and Padayappa. He just adapted to each era so well. It's the directors capacity to bring the best out of him
