      No worries mate 👍 after I did this I sprayed some wax stuff into the cavities that Gareth from expression culture recommended.
      Let me see if I can find what it is....

      @@ModFix I shall get some of this! Onamission does blasting and powder costing for around £100 so I’m debating going that route as it looks hard to get around that cavity

    Great vid Drew, beam turned out really good 👍, good choice with the piper stuff, loving mine. It's the midrange more you will enjoy 😉

    Great job mate. Done a similar job to mine. Using ooly strip discs make life much easier. Problem is to get to those crevasses. I managed to remove my bushes with a big hammer lol

    • @ModFix
      @ModFix  ปีที่แล้ว

      😆 big hammer fixes everything 😆 Thanks for watching mate 👍 Halfway through I thought of getting my little angle grinder out but settled on a file. But like you said there are a lot of crevasses. Looks better anyway 😆 👍

    ok, my rear left wheel has extreme camber all of a sudden and the tyre is even rubbing onto the plastic cover over damper, don't know if beam has cracked/snapped somewhere or if bushing :/

    • @ModFix

      It sounds like the beam to me. Only option is to have a look unfortunately 😔

    Get yourself some cavity wax in a aerosol mate. That will slow the rust down in places you cant get to

    How hard was the rear beam to remove yourself? Id say im relatively handy but definitely know my limits. I believe my beam has gone on the back end as the back end of the car had dropped. So just wondering whether its worth giving it ago or paying a mechanic

    • @ModFix
      @ModFix  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The actual beam removal wasn't too bad. It's the disconnecting brake lines that I found worst. I guess it depends on whether you can loosen all the brake lines and various brackets before you crack on with removing hubs and suspension etc

      @@ModFix ok haha sounds like a mechanic jobs then 🤣 also need a new exhaust too so looks like i best get saving !

    Nice, someone would 'snap your arm off' for that, pun intended. I haven't looked but do you think it's possible to remove the torsion bar inside the axel so it can be cleaned behind it better? This is on my list to do, but i might just bite the bullet and just get an OEM one...last thing i want is it snapping on track. I need to do the whole underside of the car to be honest, but i'm waiting for the exhaust to turn up... Come on Tegiwa, i only ordered it in MAY!!! :D Great job mate keep it up.

    • @ModFix
      @ModFix  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      😆 🤣 😂 I don't think it's possible to remove the torsion bar mate unfortunately. I think the tube between the hub and bushes is the biggest issue as you can't get to it at all. Glad I did my underside a while ago. Crap job on axle stands 😆 wow that is really poor by tegiwa. They just sent me an RBC manifold instead of an RRC. Waiting for them to sort it out 😪 Couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery!!
      Thanks so much mate 😁👍
