Saw the 24-Hour Dutch Ration being offered on MRE Mountain and it looked really good. Guess I'll have to be careful about the menu I pick. Like you, I enjoy the pate. I was upset when Customs took all of the mains and pate from my Russian rations. I look forward to having the Russian pate. Good review. If I do try this one, I'll remember to eat the Muesli like a breakfast cereal and just dig right in.
I have to agree with Angus. I have ordered several rations this year and last year from MRE Mountain. I have not received a complete ration in a long time ordering from there. All of them got raided by customs. It was a total waste of money! The rations I am showing in the ration rant video were all ordered from there....be wary! I am not crapping on them, they have cool rations. It just seems that they are all overseas.

Great review brother, I had a Dutch artic field ration. It was amazing, very large ration. Didn't have any patte either, but overall it was great. Lots and lots of food. You had me rolling. Great job.❤😎
Did I hear you correctly? You have a case of those. Wow, I didn't know you could get one. That's so cool. If I could afford it and able to find it. LUCKY lol. I dig going back and watching the rations I enjoy. And get your take on them. I hate fish, love coffee and patte. ❤😎
Great review dude. I love the grapefruit drinks. This all looked pretty good. Definitely needed cinnamon and raisins in rice pudding. Keep up the great reviews dude.
@@fredbaumann8228 The soldier issued this ration would carry the water needed. This is a heavy ration and the water would be heavy as well. There are a lot of wet items in retort pouches that do not need water. Though they are heavy! I guess it would get lighter with every meal! SEE! Rice pudding for breakfast was a good idea! LOL.
Funny it taste like curry, Chicken Marsala is an Italian dish in a rich wine sauce. The funky chicken looks like chicken jerky lol 😊 Great review keep up the good work
Haha, you’re supposed to eat stuff like the corn muesli immediately after you get it stirred enough! Mountain House has similar stuff and it’s the exact same thing.
@@RationNerd Have you reviewed any of the German rations yet? I’ve had one of those, and they’re full of some pretty tasty items including several patès. It is pretty heavy on crackers though…
I have one new German and one really old German ration I just got today! Be on the look out for both of those to hit the review table! I also have an older video where I eat a 37 year old German Emergency Pilot Ration.
Let's be honest here ...your wrist never tires. Just like tuna is called chicken of the sea the meat you thought looked like beef and not chicken is often mistaken by Westerners who rarely eat it, it won't hurt you but just so you know ...meow meow is used in other parts of the world. Thanks for reviewing this awesome Chinese MRE it was way way better than the last one with squid.
They really ripped you off with that ration( customs I mean) I had one of these before not this menu they took your chocolate bar and several of the protein bars also.
I think all of the menus have different options for the food items. I got an entire unopened case of these. Somehow customs left it alone! Other menus have had chocolate bars and other items. I was shocked and a little butt-hurt that not all of the menus have pate' in them! Thank you for watching, subscribing and commenting!!!!!

Watch out for MRE Mountain. The rations I have ordered took forever to ship and got hit by customs. Buyer beware!
