I don't know about the new one (yet), but the original had a very dense, very rich, enveloping fragrance. It felt velvety, seductive and somewhat exotic, it gave me the sense of comfy warmth, I could go as far as saying that the sensation it gave was that it acted as a glamorous protective cocoon of warmth (but not cringy glamour, rather elevated, refined glamour, distinct). Nice to wear when it was cold and especially at night. The original bottles with the magnets were really nice.

A huge let down and disappointment for those of us who has worn this for years since it many releases. Why claim they have brought it back when it’s not even the same product? And I loved the original bottle with the magnetic top. It was said that the original only had 3 notes, vanilla, amber and sandalwood. Some even claimed they could smell lavender.

Because when I checked the JPG website a months or so it didn’t say vanilla anywhere in rehabilitation to the notes. But now it does🤷🏾♀️😅🫣‼️ I’m so happy it is back, but tho in Europe, I live in Norway, so dunno how to get a hold of it, and it’s apparently sold out already.

PUIG Re-issued this in September 2023. It should be "fixed" now 🎉 different colour as well... There are/were 2 versions... US and Europe. Now only 1, in 2023.

The Dutch and the Spanish site doesn’t exist apparently. And on the regular official ww english site, there’s no way to even purchase, only on the UK or French site, where it as you said, it’s sold out and says to be restocked. And where is the vanilla? Several here says the new one has the vanilla like the old one, and has the same notes listed: Vanilla, musk and amber… if not I won’t order it as I expect the same product when they claim it will be brought back🙄 I loved the original one, and if not the exact same notes, projection etc, I won’t have it. So disappointed tbh!

Thats a really good question. They don’t state any perfumer on the website. But Francis did formulate the original release back in the naughties.

Dry-down gets better though if smelled from a bit of distance and not directly with nose buried into the skin on the spot one sprayed it on.
