Myself and my boyfriend took a little last minute city break trip to Manchester at the weekend.
This definitely wasn't our first time in Manchester but still ending up doing some exploring around the city. We ate goooood so lots of fire food recommendations - we also did not eat anywhere fancy fancy so they are affordable food spots!
The shopping ended up being mostly browsing - got a few new books, clothing etc but we still scanned through loads of cool shops: Black Sheep Skate Shop, Selfridges, KershKicks, Carhartt, etc.
I say this like a billion times in the video - but our hotel apartment situation was fab and i would 100% recommend. we stayed at the CitySuite Apartments. The location was ideal (less than 10 min walk to the Arndale Shopping Centre), super spacious and lowkey glam ??
The amount of napping that took place over the weekend was absolutely essential. However, I am sorry that this vlog isn't super hefty with content - however, I hope you enjoy it all the same!

Next time you should go to Chorlton (Beech Road area) and Didsbury (Burton Road area)! Really nice, more hipster subburban areas with great food and little shops x

I’m not sure what your definition of a hipster is but Manchester is renowned for its rock & indie music scene and the northern quarters is known for its independent shops, cafes,vintage clothes and alternative fashion

Awesome video im from Philadelphia Pennsylvania usa and hope to fly to manchester 🇬🇧 and then take the train from Manchester piccadilly to the town of hale and explore that town.

Pep Guardiola (Manchester City manager) lives there (or certainly used to). Would not be surprised if other footballers did. I also know other footballer lives few minutes walk away

My wife is traveling back to the UK in October. She will visit Bath, then Chester. After that she can't decide between Manchester and Newcastle. Her last stop will be York, but trying to decide between Manchester and Newcastle. Which would you recommend?
Hey! They say that Newcastle is smaller with its unique identity. But I'd say both would be on par! Id go with whichever is easiest for your route

I'm in Manchester right now..3 nights/4 days. I honestly can't recommend it for a visit. This is my least favorite UK city so far (traveling throughout UK for about a month, then on to Europe).
