Hello everyone thanks for lending me your eyes and ears and watching my video! I've just released a new track titled 'Golden Days' which I'd love for you to listen to! Here's a link to the song for those that would like to lend me their ears one more time x www.linktr.ee/chrisbrainmusic
I love the pure soul of you and your interpretation of the great song which is presented in a natural way, love this natural virtuosity and purity of the video, it is much appreciated, i just found it and it made my day! Terri Leckner, Montreal, Canada
My partner Jaki knew Jackson. In fact, he lived with her and her husband for a time in Woodstock. She heard him play this and many of his songs. He wrote a few while he lived with her. She could see his incredible talent. Sadly, he was a tragic figure. Haunted and unhappy. Those were often not happy times for her either and when I showed her your excellent cover it brought her back to a bittersweet time. Music like this does that for a lot of us, no? Great cover, mate.
Well how could I not just like this but absolutely love it my friend❤ One of those simple yet iconic songs that had all of the folk names such as Paul Simon, Bert Jansch and even Nick Drake doing there own covers of those beautiful song. Hard to imagine anyone stamping their own “thing” on this song after all that’s been and gone and yet here your own version is quite beautiful. Just guessing as to where you are so I’m thinking either the viaduct over the Calder or the Ribblehead one?
Hi Andrew it’s a wonderful song isn’t it! I think I first heard it in the folk club many a year ago… The viaduct as arthington just outside of Otley. I sometimes go swimming in the river when the sun shows it’s face x

Great to hear his song kept alive with fresh blood 👍
The train….! It’s like a little shoutout from Jackson himself. Thank you for keeping his brilliance with us.
A absolute materpiece in sink with nature.
Drink a beer while you're playing those nostalgic songs would be so f* good, bro.
Love from Germany. A "Let The World Hear About Bert Jansch"-friend always plays this song in his concerts and it´s become one of my favourites
It's a wonderful song! x
Love your sort of "bounce" "swingish" application to the groove. A refreshing vocal take as well. Very nice keep it up and all the best to you.
Jackson and Bert would’ve been chuffed I’d say. Your presence and comfortable approach made it so believable. Thanks👍✌🏾
train at the end was such perfect timing. Great preformance!
Almost like I’d paid them off ha
Very, very nice cover of this great song.
Another great cover! That train/bus passing by came at the perfect time. Wonderful view of the landscape. Thank you!
Bus? what he hell?
Not bad timing ey! X
thank you so much for this lovely video and song
That was great Chris. I just learned this song myself. Now need to go back and sneak in some of the changes you added. Love it…
I do a version of Bert's version of this. I love how you inject so much swing into it - and your break is great too.
Effortless bounce beautiful lyrical sound - great playing in beautiful Wharfedale along road from otley :-)
It's a stunning setting! Thanks for the comment x
- Love your song choices, and your locations and your touch with a guitar.

Arthington viaduct! Usually quite popular so I went out early to do this one x
