It's in Llanddulas. I guess you know the large cave entrance(s) you can see from the A55 - it's not them. However, it is around the side towards Rhyd-y-Foel (and behind the houses on the Rhyd-y-Foel Road). It is much easier to park at the end of the trees where there is a footpath in Rhyd y Foel itself and walk backwards (through the woodland path) towards Llanduddlas. You will find a lead mine adit first with the cave very shortly afterwards. :O)
I don't know how you can tolerate squeezing through those small spaces. I tried in my boy scout days , almost got stuck and that was the last of that! It is enjoyable watching you though ! another good one!
It's a hobby. The club has a number of people who are degree qualified in geology (and other relevant subject matter) and I listen to what they say when we are out and about because it is fascinating :o) Thanks for your comment :o)
Great Vid Ian! Very interesting that the lower level is now de-watered. It has of course whet my whistle with regards to the flooded incline :)
The flooded incline to the left/right of the mined passage? It doesn't appear to go anywhere but since the water got out it must do ..... :o)
brilliantly filmed, presented and produced! :-)
Where is Dulas Cave, Ian ?

Well done, Ian. You were the first explorer I saw on TH-cam, years ago.

Nice video Ian, informative and descriptive--outstanding!
Just one question: Are you a geologist or is caving and mineralogy a hobby?
