I'm watching this thinking how blessed you both are to have the relationship you have with one another. Enjoy the hunt. And guys out there, spend time with your Dad while you have him, Dad's spend time with your sons while you have them. It's gone before you know it.

Time is fleeting...and It's for that very reason I've taken more time off to spend with family this fall. I'll never regret it. I don't think anyone ever is at the end of their life saying "I wish I would have worked more".

I ended up with the BF Goodrich KO3's. I've had 4-5 sets of the KO2's and have never had an issue. We'll see how these "new and improved" ones work😁
We got a moose permit in 2010 and the week we had it was warm and a tropical storm blew in and it rained every day. Nothing was moving. The best day was the last day and we got close but no cigar.
The past few years I've seen some pretty bad moose weeks. A friend of mine was moose hunting a few years ago and had 90 degree temps😳.
Sending up prayers for you guys that you hunt to the best of your ability and that Jesus maybe nudges a big bull moose your way lol. God bless and drive on gentleman!

Can’t go wrong with Kuiu - been wearing them out west and now here in the East. Been wearing them since 2011-2012 ish. Reliable and athletic. Not cheap but still have some of their stuff after all these years.
That on is mine my parents got me a few years back for Christmas. Thanks for the encouragement!
Yes, the Kuiu pants are super comfortable. I'm going to enjoy them bird hunting this fall!😁

Zone 3 is definitely my personal favorite zone as far as moose hunting goes. I shot a very nice 50 inch bull last October in 3. It’s produced some giant bulls for many years. Hopefully fortune favors you guys this week.

Good luck on your moose hunt! And for that matter, the rest of your hunting season. As for the hunting shows, I used to watch “cabin country” with host Bill Saife III. That was before I had satellite television. I believe it was on PBS public television. Now I watch MOE !

I hear you on the traditional clothing for hunting, it took me a long time to start using the “new” stuff but it really does work well. Though a nice wool plaid jacket is still my favorite

Good luck gents, looking forward to the results. I also like to read in camp. I have hunted Africa twice, and have read Capstick’s, “Death in the Dark Continent”, “Death in the Long Grass”, and “Death in the Silent Place’s” more than once. I still love to hunt, but I’m at the stage where the downtime in camp is almost enough. The quiet solitude, to me, is worth the admission. Now, go kill the new state record Bullwinkle.

Love watching you guys! I used to live in fort Fairfield And still have family there but for 3 years we lived in madawaska. I worked at the Maine famous Lakeview restaurant and was so busy I never got to hunt up in the northern parts of Maine... Now we live in central / western Maine anyway it's so nice to see content from our beautiful state that doesn't typically get a whole lot of recognition lol maybe that's a good thing too tho. Keep up the good work maybe someday I'll make it up there to hunt deer and possibly bump into you guys for a handshake

I definitely will, it's kinda funny cuz Matt's only 7 years older than me so we get along like friends instead of step dad and son but they had a great spot out on the green ridge there but they've since moved and things have changed but still plenty of big woods up there for sure
