One thing I want to note is how hank's gunshots are much more quick, sneaky and integrated in the song compared to for example hd pico's that are much more blunt, loud, and interrupting, it shows how hank is a skilled fighter that is never predictable unless there's a good reason not to be
Its honestly such good audio design to mske thr gunshots actually fit in with the music, mad props to the composer for this mod because its so fucking quality. Can't imagine the real Hank week will be able to match up to this sadly.

The gunshots especially in the unfair/fu*ked version add such a good beat to the song which is already perfect- plus the super official looking interface, ik it's not in this video but it looks so official, and honestly part of me hopes that the developers would have used that interface since it looks so perfect for FNF's style. OK, I REALLY love this- When Tricky falls off the boombox and does that weird animation, it's a reference to Madness Accelerant. In the opening section, you had to shoot Tricky so he could go into Hellclown (or Fire Tricky) mode. When you do inevitably shoot him, he falls off using the same animation. I also love how Hank just looks at Tricky like: "this isn't your mod idiot"
10/10 mod, it almost looks completely official, the phantom arcade tricky design, hank's voice, and everything is just wonderful, it really makes fnf feel like a newgrounds game for some reason
That small pause and Tricky looking at Hank before getting shot made choke on my drink, then Deimos and Sanford shooting the grunts on the sides is an awesome detail
One interesting detail I didn't see anyone mention is that in Tricky's section [1:03] the notes don't light up when 'pressed' in the same way as Hank or BF, being more akin to vanilla FNF where the opponent's notes simply don't light up. If intentional then it's likely meant to show off how Tricky isn't really meant to be here and that his notes are not the same as Hank's. If unintentional then it's probably just small oversight where the programmer(s) forgot to make Tricky's notes light up in the same manner as Hank & BF. Food for thought
Okay this mod is just amazing, I like the surpise Tricky appearance but gets shot and falls down by Hank shortly after lol, I also like that in the FU*KED difficulty when Tricky fell down, just like in the original Accelerant game, he comes back up with his uh bigger demon form or something idk the name, but yeah that is pretty cool. Everything about this mod oozes love and care for it. From the bullet notes being integrated into the song to Tricky's little "HAA-" as he falls away is perfect. Even Hank opening his jaw at the end is just wonderful.
This is one of my favorite mods. The sprites are amazing and the song is absolutely incredible. The chart is also much better than almost every other "super difficult" mod out there. I still have yet to beat this song, though
fun fact: the reason gf comes back up with a hotdog is because in madness accelerant, there's a hotdog stand where you first meet tricky. if this mod takes place above that area, then that means gf must've gotten a hotdog from that stand.

I love all the random stuff that happens in the background of the mod. The helicopter. Deimos and Stanford being dropped off and aiming at GF. GF putting her hands up and having a dot on her head. Tricky showing up and singing. GF returning with a hotdog. All the other grunts being shot at. Even Hellclown making an appearance. Amazing
Fun fact: the hellclown in the tricky mod came from the accelerant mod, no not this mod it is another mod for madness combat itself and lots of inspiration came from that with this mod just making a song about another mod
I feel like Hank was disappointed in Sanford and Deimos because they had their dot on the zombie clown but didn't shoot him so he did it himself They learn from their mistake and start demolishing Hell clown
Tricky's part in this, especially the entrance, is so musically satisfying. It scratches my brain the right way edit: in the f*cked version, what's that lever on the health bar for?
Hank's probably like, "Hey I'm losing, better put this lever on the healthbar so his health will drain." Jokes asides it's meant to drain your health when you(or anyone) is not or is singing so it'll make it harder.
I believe that we have a new standard for quality here. Like Whitty and his 3rd fase, Tricky and his mechanic, and Garcello with the serious storytelling his week brought to the table, this mod clearly feels like the natural evolution of the FNF formula. Like the aforementioned mods and all the trends they spawned, the next ones to come should look to this mod in particular for inspiration.
I like how the bullet notes are in time with Hank’s melody rather than being exclusively BF like Tricky’s fire notes, because Hank is shooting and the note is just to dodge

My favorite part here is that Tricky's mechanic from his mod was used here. Hard version contains bullets and fire notes by Tricky and then in FU*KED version, It contains so many bullets and Tricky's Halo notes just to make it harder. Specially the real scene of accelerant was on this mode. Also that health drain when Tricky comes It's so good. I feel like this is the Week 8 official.
The ONLY thing I dislike about it is that it's time-limited. Meaning after 25th of September you can't play it (probably in a version update or a software update in-game since it's an Online mod)
Not really. It's time-limited if you don't pass the challenge at all. The creator, TheBlueHatted, said that only high-ranked players and players that passed the challenge could play the song again after the time limit. It's a great reward, for a great mod.

Hot damn this mod is a beauty to behold! The gunshots are so well integrated and sound good within the song! The animations are crisp and smooth too. I think it would have been cool for hank to be his madness combat 6 self on insane mode or something since it is his most frantic and scary form but that is just me.

I love how in the Funked difficulty, when Tricky gets knocked off the stage and returns in his giant form, Deimos and Sanford start shooting Tricky at the same time that Hank tries to shoot BF. I don't watch Madness Combat anymore (the amount/brutality of the violence and gore eventually got to me) but I thought it's cool that they're just up there like "Yup, this guy's goin' down" with their sniper rifles lol. I'm very excited to see what the official release for Hank has for us, if it's better than this mod, then we're in for one wild time :kekw: Edit: I finally watched all of Madness Combat so yeet
I agree about everything being superb in this mod EXCEPT the actual engine itself. I have no idea how you could have possibly FC'd this one, Flippy, because my time with beating the challenge level on the hardest difficulty was just miserable suffering due to constant dropped inputs and sudden hitches screwing me over at the worst possible times and causing me to hit the expurgation notes while missing bullet notes every time except for exactly once where I managed to finally beat it by sheer luck of everything actually working properly. Not even to mention the fact once Tricky hits hellclown form I will always get massive framerate drops that can combine with the previous two issues to completely nullify a perfectly good run. I'm not perfect or even at an amazing level where I can FC songs within only a few tries, unless the planets align of course, but I'm certainly good enough to consistently survive this song with a relatively low number of missed notes, if not for glaring engine faults that made it a nightmare that took two days and too many hours to beat. I just want to know how the hell you didn't encounter any issues, because you always seem to mention if you encountered struggles with the mod's engine effectively making it impossible or next to impossible to get a consistent FC or even an FC at all in a number of cases. Usually if you don't mention anything like that in your descriptions it's safe to assume the mod generally functions just fine with only some hiccups when you first load up the song and play through to certain scripted events. Other than that this mod is great and it honestly makes me way more upset about the hardest difficulty of the challenge level for Hank being so problematic, because the charting is honestly the best I've seen in a high difficulty mod like this other than MAYBE vs Ponkomena and I actually have more gripes with those charts than I do this one, and it would clearly be fantastic fun to play if not for getting shut down every time I hit a couple of particular notes due to consistent engine failures.

Omg, this looks so incredible and well done. Although, I still think the original devs of the game will still be able to create something much more better or accessible in the future. Because as for now, this is only available on windows. Now imagine this on many platforms (f.e MacOS etc) with maybe more better gameplay and scenery.

I really love how the bullets actually add to the song instead of just being something you have to avoid hitting and adds nothing but challange to the song. Plus it just helps bring the song together with that extra beat.
I've been seeing this one go around, glad you got to play it! All the details in this are amazing and I absolutely love what they did with Hank's poses, it's so good!!! And the appearance of Tricky as well as the boys and the little details near the end are so so good!! Best Hank challenge by far!! Fun fact: the hellclown in the tricky mod came from the accelerant mod, no not this mod it is another mod for madness combat itself and lots of inspiration came from that with this mod just making a song about another mod

Hank's probably like, "Hey I'm losing, better put this lever on the healthbar so his health will drain."
Jokes asides it's meant to drain your health when you(or anyone) is not or is singing so it'll make it harder.
I think it references the name “accelerant” as in ACCELERATING a car but also drains health

I believe that we have a new standard for quality here. Like Whitty and his 3rd fase, Tricky and his mechanic, and Garcello with the serious storytelling his week brought to the table, this mod clearly feels like the natural evolution of the FNF formula.
Like the aforementioned mods and all the trends they spawned, the next ones to come should look to this mod in particular for inspiration.
i dont think the garcello mod had good story telling, it felt quite lame in my opinion
in all respect the garcello mod story is very literally "woah look at this cool guy" and them "holy shit he died of lung cancer"

My favorite part here is that Tricky's mechanic from his mod was used here. Hard version contains bullets and fire notes by Tricky and then in FU*KED version, It contains so many bullets and Tricky's Halo notes just to make it harder. Specially the real scene of accelerant was on this mode. Also that health drain when Tricky comes It's so good. I feel like this is the Week 8 official.

The song throws you for a loop right in the middle of it with that Tricky cameo. He unironically has the catchiest part of the song.
The ONLY thing I dislike about it is that it's time-limited. Meaning after 25th of September you can't play it (probably in a version update or a software update in-game since it's an Online mod)

Not really. It's time-limited if you don't pass the challenge at all. The creator, TheBlueHatted, said that only high-ranked players and players that passed the challenge could play the song again after the time limit. It's a great reward, for a great mod.

I like how Hank goes sneaky with his bullets in the beginning, then at one point later on he's like, "Fuck this, I'm tired of this crap," and then fires a barrage of bullets at BF. (In Hard difficulty)
Hot damn this mod is a beauty to behold! The gunshots are so well integrated and sound good within the song! The animations are crisp and smooth too.
I think it would have been cool for hank to be his madness combat 6 self on insane mode or something since it is his most frantic and scary form but that is just me.

I love how in the Funked difficulty, when Tricky gets knocked off the stage and returns in his giant form, Deimos and Sanford start shooting Tricky at the same time that Hank tries to shoot BF. I don't watch Madness Combat anymore (the amount/brutality of the violence and gore eventually got to me) but I thought it's cool that they're just up there like "Yup, this guy's goin' down" with their sniper rifles lol. I'm very excited to see what the official release for Hank has for us, if it's better than this mod, then we're in for one wild time :kekw:

I agree about everything being superb in this mod EXCEPT the actual engine itself. I have no idea how you could have possibly FC'd this one, Flippy, because my time with beating the challenge level on the hardest difficulty was just miserable suffering due to constant dropped inputs and sudden hitches screwing me over at the worst possible times and causing me to hit the expurgation notes while missing bullet notes every time except for exactly once where I managed to finally beat it by sheer luck of everything actually working properly.
Not even to mention the fact once Tricky hits hellclown form I will always get massive framerate drops that can combine with the previous two issues to completely nullify a perfectly good run.
I'm not perfect or even at an amazing level where I can FC songs within only a few tries, unless the planets align of course, but I'm certainly good enough to consistently survive this song with a relatively low number of missed notes, if not for glaring engine faults that made it a nightmare that took two days and too many hours to beat.
I just want to know how the hell you didn't encounter any issues, because you always seem to mention if you encountered struggles with the mod's engine effectively making it impossible or next to impossible to get a consistent FC or even an FC at all in a number of cases.
Usually if you don't mention anything like that in your descriptions it's safe to assume the mod generally functions just fine with only some hiccups when you first load up the song and play through to certain scripted events.
Other than that this mod is great and it honestly makes me way more upset about the hardest difficulty of the challenge level for Hank being so problematic, because the charting is honestly the best I've seen in a high difficulty mod like this other than MAYBE vs Ponkomena and I actually have more gripes with those charts than I do this one, and it would clearly be fantastic fun to play if not for getting shut down every time I hit a couple of particular notes due to consistent engine failures.
Ok this thing was absolutely insane; there's so much going on- it's just pure chaos and beauty- especially with Tricky just joining the song outta nowhere! I loved every part of this

Omg, this looks so incredible and well done. Although, I still think the original devs of the game will still be able to create something much more better or accessible in the future. Because as for now, this is only available on windows. Now imagine this on many platforms (f.e MacOS etc) with maybe more better gameplay and scenery.

I really love how the bullets actually add to the song instead of just being something you have to avoid hitting and adds nothing but challange to the song. Plus it just helps bring the song together with that extra beat.

I've been seeing this one go around, glad you got to play it! All the details in this are amazing and I absolutely love what they did with Hank's poses, it's so good!!! And the appearance of Tricky as well as the boys and the little details near the end are so so good!! Best Hank challenge by far!!
