Quick theory: In Genocide, we see that whenever Tabi sings, the screen goes darker and darker, and our healthbar is affected. Here's why: Due to being in smoke in the middle of a fire, BF is slowly starting to lose conscious, causing his eyes to start shutting, and he's weak because of the fire, thus the healthbar is actually affected by the opponent.

So one thing I like is that the first two songs feel like they came from a musician, there is even a part near the end of my battle where it kind of feels like tabi got lost in the music for a couple turns before remembering his goal, it makes genocide all the more impactfull as while the first two while still a bit intense do sound like they came from a musician but genocide is just pure rage, idk this is just my interpretation though

Here's why: Due to being in smoke in the middle of a fire, BF is slowly starting to lose conscious, causing his eyes to start shutting, and he's weak because of the fire, thus the healthbar is actually affected by the opponent.
