    I just found your videos and I’m obsessed! Thank you for the style of your video! I get way too flustered when a video goes on for ever because of the babbling. Thanks for getting to the point!

    Very good machine quilting teaching. I especially like the steps to secure, and doing half, then rotating.

    Your techniques are very easy to understand and methodical. I appreciate your explanation of spray basting and pressing the quilt before beginning to free motion quilt. You have inspired confidence to try this. Thank you.

    You make it look so easy! I like to hand bind also, but I never thought to insert the needle behind the stitch you just put in. I'm going to try that. Also, I don't think I have ever adjusted the pressure on my presser foot? I need to check my manual for how to do that. Thank you for a great and detailed demo.

    Hi. I heard you on The Quilter on Fire podcast with Brandy M( I know I'm going to spell it wrong lol) and wouldn't you know one of your videos popped up! 😀 When I saw 5" squares quilt and chevron I've come to take a closer look. Your quilting style really appeals to me. You have a lot of good tips. Ty 💖

    I was always taught to start in the middle of the quilt and work out. Your ways seems easier but do you get puckers in the middle? Thank you for sharing your techniques

    • @ChristaQuilts
      @ChristaQuilts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No puckers at all when you follow my methods. I go more indepth about my quilting techniques in my new book, How Do I Quilt It. You can check that out here: shop.christaquilts.com/product/how-do-i-quilt-it

    Quick question - Do you stitch in the ditch for every quilt before doing free motion?

    • @ChristaQuilts
      @ChristaQuilts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on my quilting plan. If I'm doing custom quilting then my ditching serves as my anchor/stabilizing quilting. If it's an edge to edge design, then no, I don't.

  • @adelawiley3083
    @adelawiley3083 ปีที่แล้ว

    Krista, because u have basted your quilt properly u have no problem with shifting of the fabric, when starting at a corner instead of the middle??

    • @ChristaQuilts
      @ChristaQuilts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that's correct. If you do a good job basting, you can start quilting anywhere you like.
