The leak dont was from head gasket. I see was leaking from oil cooler housin gasket. Very comond problem in volvo d13. You guy make the costumer spend alot of money. To be mechanic you have the learn first..
I'm worried because I have to tell my boss that I replace the EGR cooler on my Volvo vnl And it is still burning coolant. I don't know if it's the head gasket, the turbo, or the air compressor. I went with the most probable cause, and I got bit.
Hey man my truck is a 2012. It was running fine with check engine on. I went on vacation for a week and when I try to start it the lights would come on, but it won’t crank at all. The only message i get it Maintenance required vehicle Ecu. And j1939 Communication error with Engine ECU. Please help me out with this if you have any idea what could it be

2012 Volvo will lose compression going up a hill and found out cylinder head has crack but fortunately no leaks and will be replaced soon.

I have 2016 volvo 780 with d13 , the coolant through overflow hose drips like 4-5 drops a day ,can you tell the possible reasons.

I had one do the same. Check fuses. If not a fuse you will need a new ecu. Had one done about a year ago.
Volvo truck never had oil leak with gasket they are oil leak with rear timing cover oil leak
