They did it vs the fk2 on auto express a few years ago
YES!! THE MEGANE WON!!!
look the TCR series. than you see which car won all over the world. Honda FTW!
@@Earl_VTEC honda 2 won in being the ugliest hot hatch ever did you know that? and wich manufacter is in f1 ? not honda
Renault must return in Canada, Québec.
The camera inside the Renault is angled too low
Bring the trophy with more power and powerful brakes 👌
None are a patch on s3 or golf r
Except both will beat either....comfortably
Yea, I feel this was more on the drivers than the cars.
Not the best version. Replace the rs for a trophy edc
We'll wait for Evo version of Megane
Difference is the Renault will break in 5 years and the Honda will be here till the end of times
Renault has 4 wheel steering, how long untill that breaks? 😂😂
Time will end in 5 years.
Just buy a Toyota then if reliability is you're thing. How about a carolla with chrome hubcaps?
I don't think it will take 5 years before something is wrong with it.
Still resorting to decades old stereotypes? I've driven my previous generation Megane RS Cup as a daily for almost 4 years and as a track car for over 5 years and have had no problems with it
I feel like you didn't use the meganes full potential 😕 deffo not another coriagrphed episode
Performance practicability reliability,CTR wins
Renaults having bad reliability is just a old stereotype.
Reliability? stop to call a dCi renault
Weird, watched a video earlier where the type r is over a second and a half quicker than the Mégane rs... As was the I30 N Performance.... Not that it really makes a difference to your non pro drivers (such as myself lol).
It also depends on the type of track and yes the drivers...Both of these drivers are proper race drivers in there own classes. A longer circuit the Type R would probably win, a shorter twisty circuit, the Megane for sure..
Some external reviews rave about the Civic Type R having virtually no understeer and comparing it to Porsche's GT4 cars, whilst Renault's 4 wheel steer being a little unnerving for those not used to it (hence why it was dropped from the new Megane Trophy R). Still a fab car though.
Also, feel that the other 2 cars (Audi and Leon) shouldn't have been dropped early if they could redeem themselves in a later test
Overall though, great reviewers
It was dropped from trophy rs because of weight in the first place
Civic type r super
I loved the anglesey circuit, nice
great race👍
what happen when they put a 2.0 engine in this monster Oo
And now a small word from our sponsor ... RENAULT
Why not take the Megane Rs Trophy ?
Cause it would smoke the civic and it wouldnt be fair 😂. The standard megane rs 280 is already much faster than boy racer's toy
And also because it costs 72000 pounds. Jason said at the start that these hot hatches had to be around 30 grand.
@@mylifeasmanta No. You Are takling about the trophy-r. Thats a totally different Car to the trophy.
The trophy is a rs cup with 20 more HP, lighter wheels and brakes. And Costs 31500 where the normal rs is 30000
This test was done before the Trophy was available.
th-cam.com/video/0qZoIxzVNJo/w-d-xo.html 😂😂😂😂😂 because trophy is slowest compare the 280! 😂😂😂😂 with same pilot type r is better than trophy 300 with s007 tires! So this test is ridiculous. 😂😂😂😂
There's only one problem the rs would break down being French enough said really lol; as where Honda different kettle of fish 👍👍👍
Don't talk nonsense boy
renault
19 people have a civic Type R and are not happy with this result.
I'm disappointed there is no Golf GTI the original hot hatch
It would not stand a chance against the Renault and the Honda.
The Civic looks overly fussy, as all Japanese cars are. That tips the scale for me towards the Megane.
tiadaid lets be honest, the Civic is a great hot hatch but you’d feel a bit of a pillock driving it around everyday.
megane rs my favorite
Can’t believe you sacked tiff
Mégane every day. 10x better looking yet almost identical performance... And it's cheaper.
I love Renault Megan RS/RS Trophy!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
280 cv vs 320.. bravo Renault buuff la trophy 300 cv buffffff.
Renault the best
The civic is very well engineered, however I just can't get past the look of the thing. Renault reliability is of concern. Recently got a Hyundai i30 n, and I have to say, its absolutely brilliant!
Uhm, is it ok if i take that coin... Coz... Coz I think you guys just left it on the floor.
Such a pitty Cupra was eliminated in 1st round so unfairly, it would be able to win this comparison.
clearly not… as these two are the top 2 fwd cars
These races are so fake. You can tell these laps are scripted
Beauty wise? Mégane..
French 🇲🇫 always hv style & very chic! D'accord? Oui! Absolument pour moi🤗j'aime beaucoup la Renault 👌très belle et trop rapide!
4wheel steering..yup.thats Mégane!
I will put my money on the honda it will last forever unlike renault/nissan
I love Megane Rs Trooph
