You might be interested to know Cornwall has the longest continuous coastline of any county in Britain, It’s length is a whopping 422 miles long. So glad you enjoyed your time in Kernow or as we Cornish call her, our Eden on Earth! Nadelik Lowen! (Merry Christmas)
Definitely need to include this in your pitch & you guys should be featured on a BBC travel show! I love Merlin & all the folklore stories! I'd like to go inside Merlin's cave! Who here is from New York & wants to come with me to Europe during the summer? Anyway, I saw the new film, Hellboy. lol Wait, I didn't give away anything... 🤔😄
Beautiful vlog. Music is amazing. I also love peregrine falcon a, grew up in Chicago, a pair nest near my home. Beautiful birds, wickedly strong, watching them capture pigeons was wild.
Isn't it crazy what you can find in your own backyard? We explored all the waterfalls in our backyard (except the giant stinking Niagara Falls) and we were so blown away by the beauty that we take for granted at home.
I will be visiting Cornwall in May 2020. Looking forward to seeing all the stained glass windows in Tintagel and that lovely waterfall and pool. Thank you so much!
My home town Chichester has peregrine falcons nesting in the Cathedral, they've been there for years! You'll have to check out when they are most active xx
King Arthur originated in Welsh medieval literature and most of the literature says he was king of Glamorgan and Gwent. Wilson and Blackett have done some excellent books on this. Tintagels links to Arthur have been pretty much disproved but anyway it's a beautiful place and a great video
It looks a lot like Coastal Oregon where I live. Fun thing is I just traced an ancestor from 1360 of mine to there, so had to look it up. What a gorgeous place.
Aw you have made Emma's day. This was the second video Emma fully edited herself. This one and the robin hood video. She is more than delighted with this comment
I was introduced to your channel recently by some friends in the USA, was watching this vid as we hope to visit Tintagel soon (pandemic allowing!) and surprised to hear you mention your hometown of WSM - that's where we are! Small world! 🥰
Omg this UK roadtrip series has been so awesome guys! Thank you so much for going to all these places and give the fascinating history behind it! I lived in England for 8 years and live now with my lovely British hubby in the U.S. in Tenessee, but man I have to go back to some these places I haven't visited! I don't want to make you crazy jealous about that Falcon watching, but I was very lucky to see one up close and personal by a falcon trainer at Doune castle and got some great photos if you would like to see them let me know and I can send them to you somehow! :)
Your videos are very interesting. I have been watching to improve my english listening and also because I love to learn about UK. I think you have beautiful scenary and I hope to visit again UK as soon as possible. Hallo from Italy
I, for one, being a hopeless romantic, so want to believe that King Arthur was real! 🤴 (I have tickets to see Camelot on Saturday at a local theater, lol) 😉 Another truly stunning video! You all are doing such a fabulous job showing us how absolutely gorgeous and amazing your country is. I am ready to start planning a trip and soon! Many thanks and much happiness to you both. 🤗 Your vlogs have brought me great joy.🥰❤🇬🇧🥂
K.B. Twyman He was real alright. But he was Welsh and was also called King Arthrwys in the Charters of Llandaff Cathedral, Cardiff. He was only turned into myth because the English with a German royal family, wanted Brits to forget their real heritage. Google Pro Anima Artorius if you want the truth. Even the Bodlian Library’s English Bruts state plainly that “ Arthur was crownede Kynge in Glamorgayne “. Glamorgan then included Gwent. Arthrwys or Arthur was crowned King at Caerleon in Gwent because only 200 years after the Romans left, it was still a beautiful city. The amphitheatre at Caerleon is in King Arthur’s meadow or mead. It has been called this name since the early Middle Ages. Some speculate that the round table was in fact the amphitheatre, where Arthur and his court would meet. Arthur’s father was King Meurig of Gwent and his grandfather was King Tewdric of Gwent. Tewdric died fighting the Saxons near Tintern, a town named after him (Din Teyrn, Hill of the King in Welsh.) He is buried at Mathern Church, near Chepstow ( also named after him, Dyma Teyrn, place of the King in Welsh.) A grave headstone for Arthur was also unearthed at St Peters Super Montem Church in South Wales, a n ancient church that stands on the site of a first century hermit hut. It read: Arthrwys Rex, Fili Mauritius (the Latin name for Meurig, his father). I am afraid Tintagel’s only claim to Arthur is that it was said to be the place where he was CONCEIVED in a piece of fiction by Geoffrey of Monmouth. In other words, a story and nothing else. If you want real Arthurian artefacts, you should head to South Wales, where he actually ruled.
My favourite waterfall? The sound of my morning pee in the loo. Sooo relaxing and calming. 😁 😉 Loooooove the UK series! You guys showed a lot of it. I especially like the nature and quaint stuff. Oh, and not to forget... 😃 the filmic storyline intros. So fun to watch. ❤ POLLYYYYY OUT! 😎
👍🏾👍🏾 All waterfalls are great! I love the unexpected ones in Switzerland. I’ve seen Gullfoss in the summer, and fall, but it’s so cold, the spray hurts!
Buenos dias Beanmeisters. Thanks for the vid. I visited the area on the way down to Cornwall once. Beautiful part of the world. I should make the effort to visit my brother in Cornwall again soon. I look forward to your next episode. Are you travelling further down than the Eden Project? I'm sure your viewers would love to see your take on how unique Cornwall is. Shalom Beans.
"Buenos dias Beanmeisters" haha I think that is my favourite one you have called us so far. Unfortunately not, just Eden project this time. We have done some Cornwall vids I believe near when we started the channel. Emma had been dying to see the Eden project since we met so she wanted to end our series there. Definitely will do Cornwall justice on our next UK series (whenever that is).
@@TravelBeans Hi. Can't wait to see your next set of foreign travels. I may make a trip myself as my uni job finishes for summer this week. Thanks again for your superb content 😊

booked to go there next week on our first trip to Cornwall, but with all those steps at the castle will I have the energy to do the glen too in the same day? My body may not wake it haha. Great informative video wit lots of energy from the hosts
My favorite waterfall was the private one at Rock Cottage in Brecon, Wales, a waterfall, the stream not 10 feet from the door, what more could you want?
King Arthur, if he ever existed, was not King of England, he was fighting the invading English. Arthur was a Briton. A dark ages period stone was unearthed at the site, which said in Latin 'Arthur built this'. Go look up the Historic England info on this. Also Pendragon is pronounced pen -dragon (head of the dragon) not pendrugun. From Cornwall (Kernow).
Unfortunately you'll have to check their website.. they told us that it would be open "in the summer". So June could be possible..🤞 we hope it's open for your visit!
Love your birds dont you Alex, such a hornythologist! Love a good cave once went to a gig in a cave was freezing as was 2 days before Christmas but well worth it for the experience. @@TravelBeans I think it was but this was about 15 years ago so my minds a bit hazy as drang alor of beers on the car journey down with my mates from the northwest
This is my absolute most favourite place on earth! I'm super into arthurian legend, (honestly secretly believe in parts of it too hehe) and I'm going there in 2 days! This time I'm taking my closest friend with me, and I'm hoping to show him the cave, the castle, the waterfalls, and just the scenery around. I'm also planning to do some sketching and painting whilst we're there, it just has the perfect atmosphere. My family argue a lot when we are on holiday, but it was 100% peaceful and calm every time we go, its somehow got a weirdly calming mood around the place, probably due to the beauty of it all ^^ This was lovely to watch, its getting me right in the mood for going again haha
They've wanted me to think big on them, jewish & pagan here..but apparantely she's not even mom or cathy at all,it'll doomed me again n again for today as well, god bless..amen
How bright and witty you both are, Emma and Alex. God bless you both amen.
Excellent place, excellent vlog.
Amazing video! Tintagel Castle is one of our favourite places in the U.K.! We were there when it was howling down rain, but it was SO epic!

Yeah it really is crazy and almost a little embarrassing considering we go so far looking for those kind of things.
