Sir aapne jitne bhi one shot ya koi bhi session rakhe hai aaj tak, Mai aapka bhot aabhari hu. Thank you so much for teaching in such an explanatory and easy way.
honestly sooo glad that such a series exists !! It genuinely helps in revision !!! Looking forward to the PYQs series.......THANK YOU SOO MUCH RAMAN TIWARI SIR FOR PUTTING SOO MUCH EFFORTS INTO MAKING THIS SERIES
You're legit incredible sir! 🙌I can't tell you how useful these videos have been to me. From being scared of quants to literally having the required confidence to deal with any sort of question is the kind of surreal change that you have brought in me and that too in less than a month. I wish I would have started following your sessions 3-4 months earlier. Thank you so much sir:)
16:42 types of questions being asked- 1. range of function 2. no of integral soln/ no of non zero solution/ no of positive integral soln 3. min/max value of function imp point to remember- whether to take union or intersection of solution
At 2:26:30, The scenarios we get after solving 4 different parts represent 4 different things. Say, in first scenario, if we get x=3 then the condition on y suggests -> x+y>0 thus y>-3 and x-y>0 thus y
The logic is that in the given expression x^2+y^2+5xy .....x^2 and y^2 will always remain positive no matter what values we assign to x and y, the term that makes a difference is 5xy, now, since we have to find the minimum value of the expression therefore we have to assign such values to x and y so that the term 5xy attains its minimum value, now, for a product of two variables i.e. xy to attain their minimum value, both of them must be as far as possible from each other on the number line, that is why we take the most extreme values of x and y possible which are (3,-3) or (-3,3) and the value of 5xy comes out to be 5(3)(-3)=(-45) and if we take values of x or y other than these two values the value of 5 xy will always be greater than -45. E.g. at (3,-2) , 5xy= -30 > -45, etc
Also, if it was asked that what is the maximum value of the expression than we would have to take values of x and y which are either equal or as close as possible to each other for xy to attain its maximum value. This concept is better explained in detail by Ravi Prakash sir, search the video titled- Inequalities 1 | CAT Preparation 2019 | Algebra | Quantitative Aptitude by Rodha
sir thankyou so much. you have helped me clear modulus in so many ways honestly, ravi sir is great but you have cleared more doubts than anyone can that too in one video. I took coaching last year but even they could not explain this way. Kudos to Raman Sir! THANKYOU SO MUCH.
Sir aapne Mod m Area of the Region bounded by the lines ka concept ni cover kraya aur Graph ka Explanation bhi missing h baki sb perfect h overall the session was great bs yeh 2 cheez bhi ho jati toh aur sahi ho jata . Baki Thank you sir
Last vale ka ans 48 nhi hona chiye? In place of 24 as ordered pairs when variable is defined are different so p ki value -6, ya 6 bhi toh ho skti hai toh har ek se 8 solution ayege nhi?
Being a Non engg CAT Aspirant this lec helped a lot to understand the concepts and other practice questions ...Thank You
Being an engineer still this is not a cake walk.

sir, is there anything else shall we do after one shot and PYQ of mod section ?
and for other sub sections as well ( one shot + pyq )
best free content on youtube ,
1:36:28 why it is m -2 !!!
Bcz when we solve m+2> 0 it gives us m> -2
Because if you put any value between -2 to 4 you answer will come in negative ,,, but the inequality demands only positive answers therefore m
Sir hats off aap kitni mahnat karte ho sir ❤❤ humare liye

Krliyana consider already 6 cases and har ek mai 4
Agar apan 3 pair krte toh multiply 8 aata bhai for eg agar sirf 1 6 kre consider toh but humne 16 61 dono krliya so multiply 4 hi aayega
kya mast padhate ho sir aap

both (x+y) and (x-y) are inside mod, so without mod they can both be less than 0 but with mode they will be greater than 6
